23.01.2022 Vera Entwistle I was born and went to high school in Wigan, UK and as an adult I founded and worked with a support program for children with cancer called Cam...p Quality. I served for 20 years with these courageous children. I have never felt so ashamed of my homeland that a school would ban a child from attending her end of year Prom Night because she missed a lot of school days due to enduring a 12 hour brain surgery. That any child should have to experience such insensitivity from so called educated people is appalling! Shame on you, Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy in Runcorn, UK. and double shame on your principal for condoning this incredibly hurtful action. What lesson will your students learn from this?
