20.01.2022 Only a week ago #PaintTheTownRead came by the Child and Parent Centre Westminster with the Paint The Town REaD members. #AuntyBooka was here to greet them along with our Tony from IGA and Tu from the News and Pharmacy in Westminster who helped Aunty Booka spread the word about reading. Remember Aunty Booka has asked all the children and families in Mirrabooka region to keep reading, rhyming, counting and singing together so the Paint the Town REaD car makes it all the way home.

16.01.2022 Aunty Booka was so excited to visit the children and families at the #GroundedinTruth After School Fun in the Park event yesterday. She was really happy to hear how many children had been reading, singing, rhyming and counting and even happier when so many children left the park with another book to read at home. Aunty Booka said dont forget to swap you books at any of the local book box sites and keep on reading and shell be back to see how well you are doing.

Some of these books are for little people and some of the books are for bigger people. Some of the books are old and some are new. There is a book for everyone. Soon Im going to have a very special visitor who will help me select a book to read to you all. This visitor wears glasses and has a flower in her hair. Aunty Booka made a special visit with the Reading Bug to the Child and Parent Centre - Westminster on 29th March that was one month ago today.
