22.01.2022 For those considering some change or improvements around the home.

22.01.2022 Another job ticked off before Chrissy. With the lockdown came a large amount of jobs being pit on hold. We appreciate peoples patience as we try to get to them as quickly as we can. Adrian Baker and the boys turned out a well built pergola. We just jazzed it up with Haymes Solarshield Low sheen. Colour.... you guessed it. Everyones favourite Colourbond Monument.... We are literally rollin' into Xmas. Yewwww.

22.01.2022 Arcade room from a handful of years ago. Have since been back and had a games night in there. Such a great idea. I used Dulux Flat Black. Once night hit and the room had a coat of black on, I completely lost depth perception. Once the neon lights were switched on it came to life.... Unreal.

19.01.2022 A bit of colour selecting going on here. Always grab a heap of samples to compare with. Grabbing one sample often ends with different tones being highlighted once on a larger surface or surrounded by other colour in your spaces.... All of those samples on the left looked like light or lightish greys on their own. Put them together and you can see greens, blues and even pink and purple tones coming out. Process of elimination had this owner down to the 9 cards on the right for the walls. Woodwork and ceilings will be a crisp white. Whats your choice? Eitherway, this place will come up a treat. You'll see.

18.01.2022 Phase 1 of a home we started on over the christmas break. The crisp white definately making everything seem cleaner and more spacious. We went with Haymes Ultratrim for all of the woodwork and doors.... People often ask the pros and cons of oil compared to water base gloss finish. Oil still has a higher gloss finish with great levelling qualities. And is slightly harder wearing out of the two once fully cured. Water based has no lasting or strong odours and wont yellow over time. Oil requires sunlight to remain clear. So for me, when choosing lighter, brighter whites, we want it to stay white as long as possible. It can be more expensive short term to achieve a water base finish, but long term you'll be repainting less once you are sick of looking at yellowing surfaces. Have a great day dudes.

17.01.2022 Some nice progress at our current job in Keilor. Home is vacant so we are able to continue slowly on this one. Plenty of jobs sitting and waiting to be started or completed. Going to be flat out like a lizard drinking once restrictions ease.

12.01.2022 A little bit of progress at our Bellbrae job.

12.01.2022 We'll be sinking our teeth...and our bristles, into this beautiful weatherboard home out near Mollongghip in country Victoria pretty soon. The hope is to get the extension primed up and protected before the frost and hopefully some snow falls on it during the winter. Then we will be back to transform it in the spring time. A working holiday you might say.... Hope everyone had a great Easter Long Weekend.

06.01.2022 Deck the halls Brought plenty of life back to this much used deck. Stripped. Cleaned. Coated.... Ripper.

04.01.2022 Some progress at our Keilor Downs job. The top level completed whilst scaffolding was in place. Still plenty to do at ground level.... Colours are Colourbond Monument and Colourbond Dune. We gave the decking a lift aswell. Plenty of moss and discoloured timber. Nothing some deck clean products and a hard sand couldnt fix.

02.01.2022 Squeezing the most out of Twenty20. Finished up late yesterday with a deck repair. I coated this deck 5 years ago. Since then it had weathered badly and the owner had a crack at it a little over 12 months ago with a product not suitable to the space. Mistakes happen. Give me a buzz if you need advise or a hand fixing yours. They look awesome when done the right way. So grab some tips and get stuck in. ... I'll whack some photos on here once we recoat it. Have a great start to the new year everyone. We'll take it one brush stroke at a time.
