10.01.2022 At Paisley Park Early Learning Port Adelaide (SA), the children in the older rooms have recently developed an interest in sunflowers. Months ago, we planted sunflower seeds in our garden as a part of our sustainability practices, and over the last few weeks we’ve been seeing the results bloom. The children have been embracing the flowers through their artworks, observing how they interact with insects and the sun, and learning about the sunflower life cycle before collecting the seeds from wilted flowers for us to replant and renew the cycle. #PaisleyParkPortAdelaide #EYLFOutcome4ConfidentLearners #NQSQA1ProgramPractice

02.01.2022 National Random Acts of Kindness Day, February 17th 2021 was celebrated by the children and Educators at Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Mt Barker (SA). We find kindness occurring throughout the Centre every day, some children helping others by pushing them on the swing, reading books to each other, assisting with putting helmets on, and with climbing equipment. The Einstein children have been receiving ‘Kindness Cards’ when the Educators have noticed random acts of kindness occurring, especially in our shared outdoor yard. #PaisleyParkMtBarker #EYLFOutcome3Wellbeing #NQSQA5Relationships
