25.01.2022 We were fortunate to have some special guests on site yesterday! Congratulations to the Course 11 MPM graduates, a great bunch of people passionate about the Australian Lot Feeding Industry. Thankyou ALFA for allowing us to be part of this program and ALFA councillor Grant Melrose for making time to drop in and share his wisdom!

Watch this space for photos today of our staff and there facial creatures! https://movember.com/m/13810440... Quote of the day: Mark Twain

20.01.2022 Grateful to be heading towards the cooler months with full water storages and fresh pasture. The green in the background is some new mixed pasture planted in early March. Cattle will graze this paddock pre feedlot entry. #feedlotlife #greenerpastures... #luckycountry See more

12.01.2022 The last of our Rhodes Grass paddocks were direct drilled with oats today using our Semeato TDNG420 from Serafin Machinery The versatility of this machine means we can plant into our grass paddocks with very little disruption to the soil. The oats crop will be cut for hay or silage come October and the dormant Rhodes grass will bounce back in spring to kick off a new hay season.

12.01.2022 Happy National Ag Day! Celebrating all the people along the supply chain from the producer to the consumer! Say G’day to a farmer today and start a conversation! #australianfeedlots #agdayau #grainfedbeef #thankafarmer #myjobdependsonag

09.01.2022 We have been busy raking, baling and carting hay this week from our creek flat back to shed storage. Totalling just over 650 tonne of Rhodes grass hay in over 1270 big square bales. This equates to almost 300 days supply for the Feedlot. Time to get the winter hay crop in!

09.01.2022 We have a new opportunity to be part of Team Paka!

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Grant Melrose, Amanda Moohen, Tood Newton, and Andrew Rushford - four new ALFA Councillors elected at this morning's AGM.

08.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who showed interest in our recent vacant positions. Both positions have been filled and we look forward to working with the successful applicants.

As we wind down towards the end of a challenging year, we are excited to be able to take part in celebrating 50 years of ALFA on the 18th of December. #alfaturns50 ... #feedlotfaces #grainfedbeef #australianfeedlots #feedlotfamily See more

06.01.2022 Utilising our waste products play a significant role in our farming and backgrounding operations. Not only does this improve our soil health and productivity, it also reduces the need for synthetic fertiliser! Thanks to the team at BS Spreading for getting the job done again!

04.01.2022 It was great to see some top quality corn silage arrive last week! The guys from Central and Southern Earthmovers getting the job done smoothly once again. There will be enough silage here to see us through for another 200+ days!

03.01.2022 An exciting opportunity!
