25.01.2022 We have commenced installing 4 new bulk silos. These large polymer silos will connect to our polymer feed system further reducing the activity and cost required to make our products. Due to thier size the silos are transported in the middle of the night.

22.01.2022 Pakaflex (NZ) Ltd is here! Pakaflex is now registered by NZ inland revenue to collect and pay NZ GST. This means our NZ customers can pay domestically and all in the one transaction making life much simpler! All part of our plan to be the best timber wrap supplier in New Zealand!

19.01.2022 Hazibags added to Asbestos Removal portfolio. Hazibags are perfect for larger clean up jobs, there are even Hazibags to take a whole sheet of Asbestos roofing! Hazibags are made of grade 5 woven polypropylene, 190gsm plus 40gsm heat pressed coating, Hazibag's also come with a 200 micron liner so are suitable for asbestos removal.

17.01.2022 The recent hurricanes in the USA have caused instability in plastics supply. With several mega polymer plants in Houston shut down for extended periods, the recent slow decline in plastics prices has been sharply reversed. Despite the increasing Australian dollar we are now expecting to see polymer back over the $2/kg mark within weeks. Pakaflex is continuing to observe the trends and will provide a considered response once the dust settles again in Houston in a few weeks time!

14.01.2022 June 2016 - Pakaflex attains ISO9001:2015 Certification Pakaflex has attained certification to the latest ISO9001:2015 Quality Management standard. We are proud to be one of the first companies to achieve this latest benchmark and believe it shows our commitment to delivering affordable quality to our customers.

14.01.2022 July 2016 - Our largest coextruder yet! July 2016 saw the commissioning of our latest coextrusion machine (C4). Complete with a new wide width printing unit, C4 targets our long life outdoor products. The latest extrusion technology, automatic gauge control and polymer feeding/blending systems - which are all state of the art - provide more consistent and cost-effective products than ever before.

13.01.2022 With the restrictions required under stage 4 of the State of Disaster in Victoria released yesterday; Pakaflex will be able to remain open with a strong COVID-SAFE plan. This is because we are a critical supplier to permitted industries (insulation and timber manufacturing for building and construction for instance). We will, of course, be obtaining any necessary permits from the Victorian Government. As part of the plan we will be working with minimum crew on site at any one time during the restrictions (to minimise work travel and contact). We will also be ensuring contactless deliveries and despatches. For our customers this means that we will be able to continue to deliver almost all our products across the nation (and the Tasman) seamlessly. Stay safe everyone!

06.01.2022 Anzac day & Easter 2017 Pakaflex will be closed the day before Good Friday (Thursday 16th April) as well as Monday 24th and Anzac day (25th April).

03.01.2022 Pakaflex is pleased to advise that we can now do photgraphic print. Our new 8 colour press can print film up to 1600mm wide with up to a 1200mm print repeat! One of the few in the world that can do this! Combinded with our UV resistant polymers means we make the best potting and mulch film rewind in the market!
