16.01.2022 As you may have seen in the media this week, the AFL has announced that Auskick clinics are now in a position to return from July 2020 (as far as the Victorian Government is concerned). However they have left the decision as to if, and when, to return up to each individual centre. This decision is based on our ability to meet the requirements of the protocols, our situation, numbers etc. The AFL has NOT yet provided us with the COVID-19 protocols that our centre will need to ...act under to allow us to put on an Auskick clinic, so we are not yet able to form a view if we can comply. We have been promised this information shortly, as well as the opportunity to ask follow up questions in a webinar. Until we have received these protocols, and had the opportunity to discuss these with our key stakeholders, we are not in a position to confirm anything further. I apologise for the fact this situation creates a mixed message to you, our valued community, but we are keen to be as transparent as possible throughout this 'unprecedented time'. If you had signed up to Auskick prior to the registrations being halted, I have sent you an email with a survey. This survey is to help us understand who is able to volunteer for Pakenham Auskick in Term 3 due to changes in health, finances & other commitments. Once again, I want to assure you that we are enthusiastic about a possible return to Auskick in 2020. We will share more information when it is available. See more

11.01.2022 Hey everyone! I know that I hoped we would have more information to give you by 31st May, however no further information has been forwarded from the AFL Auskick group for me to pass on to you. For those who are registered we receive the same information at the same time as you guys so you should be up to date. For anyone not registered here is what we know now. There has been some information for other states returning. However our state has not confirmed a return to Auskick.... This will come from the AFL & Victorian Government. You may have heard that club football training has been given the go ahead for groups of 10 at a time. The ovals are then limited to 2 groups of 10 at a time (maximum 20 kids training plus coaches). Unfortunately Auskick is run in much larger groups so we will need those restrictions to ease a bit more before we can run. Auskick registrations are still closed but you can still register your interest on the website. We are always keeping an eye on the latest news and will be sure to post once we have any idea about if/when we are able to go ahead. In the meantime feel free to send us a message or look at the Auskick website for details. Thanks, Sam & Eric

04.01.2022 Season 2020 Update: For those interested in Auskick at Pakenham Auskick this season, registrations should be open today or tomorrow An email should come from NAB Auskick to our current Auskickers with further details. Those that have emailed NAB Auskick with expression of interest should be getting an email in the next few days as well Currently, we have updated with NAB Auskick that our season will run for Term 3. ... A huge thank you to everyone who has offered to step in & help out!

02.01.2022 Tonight on the news, it was announced that AFL Auskick will be back in Term 3. As a coordinator, I only received this news myself at 6pm this evening. As we are still waiting for information on how this will look & how we will be able to operate within restrictions, we are unable to open up registrations. Please feel free to jump on to the link below to register your interest.... https://play.afl/auskick

01.01.2022 Hi Auskickers, Wow! What a season we've already had! Hopefully our season will kick off at the start of Term 3! There will be a few changes ahead. The first one is Nikki & Scott Teller will be taking over as Pakenham Auskick Coordinators! A huge thank you to Nikki & Scott for putting their hands up so that our Auskickers can still have a season in 2020! Over the next week or so, information will come out on how this season will look & what assistance will be needed to ensure ...that protocols & restrictions are implemented. Please remember, even our coordinators & president are volunteers & are giving up their time to ensure that our Auskickers are able to follow their passion of football. Eric & I would like to thank everyone for their patience this season. As with most of 2020, none of it has gone to plan & we have all had to just 'go with the flow' of whatever came our way. Our Pakenham Auskickers have shown amazing understanding throughout all of this & we are truly thank you for that. Unfortunately due to commitments that start in August, we thought it was best that new coordinators start & proceed with Term 3. This will provide consistency for our Auskickers. Eric & I are also grateful for everyone who helped us last year. We started as coordinators about 4 weeks into the 2019 Auskick season. We couldn't have done it without the support of everyone who jumped in as coaches, coaches assistants, sign-in, set-up/pack up & the end of season night. Salv is still a huge part of Pakenham Auskick, so you'll still see him there most Friday's as well. Thank you Salv for giving us this opportunity last year! It has been fantastic to be part of the Pakenham Football Club family. Wishing Nikki & Scott a successful Auskick season in 2020! Best of luck to you both x --- Samantha Gubiani Pakenham Auskick Coordinator
