11.01.2022 Book Week Storytelling is one of the major forms of expression for children. It not only helps language development but also does wonders for their imagination, creativity and social skills. Here at Hippity hop we make attempts to make a real and meaningful change through not just materialized stories but with the ones that are strategically conceived, creatively executed and attached to measurable outcomes. Storytelling strategy is all about the big picture: laying the fou...ndation for narrative, identifying the audiences our stories will speak to and, most importantly, setting goals and objectives that align with individual children's needs. As we are celebrating Book week, throughout the week we will be giving children opportunities to enact and tell different stories that they have been fascinated with recently. 'We're going on a bear hunt' has been an extremely popular book throughout the centre, the kindergarten room setting up an area for the children to re-enact the story, some of the children taking it upon themselves to draw their own ideas of the story.
