14.01.2022 The Pakenham South Community Hall is NOT the evacuation or crisis centre for the fires. It is the Pakenham Hall in Pakenham at the library. For all the residents that are messaging and calling on whether Pakenham has been evacuated or is safe to return, the current and most up to date information you need to be looking at is http://www.emergency.vic.gov.au/respond/ Stay safe from the PSCH Committee.

14.01.2022 Good morning everyone. A few lovely ladies have organised a get together at the Pakenham South Community Hall today from 11.30am and invite you all for a chat and cuppa. Catch up with people you haven't seen in while or even meet some new friends. Please bring along a plate to share and please feel free to invite your friends.

06.01.2022 There will be an open afternoon this Anzac Day at the Hall with Sausage Sizzle, Coffee and Tea Provided. BYO Drink and a plate to share for afternoon tea. Laying of Wreath at Memorial Grounds. Weather permitting, outside fire and watching of the Anzac Day Footy Game. Hope to see you all there.

05.01.2022 Pakenham South Community Hall committee would like to advise the community of an post from the Pakenham Cultural Centre: RE: Bunyip State Park fire >> There will be a community meeting held in our theatre at 3pm today. The Cardinia Cultural Centre is located at 40 Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham. From 7am today (Saturday 2 March), the equestrian section of Akoonah Park, Berwick will be available for people to take horses in floats.... An emergency relief center has been established at the Pakenham Hall corner of John and Henry Street for those affected by the fire at Bunyip State Park. For ALL updates and warnings: Follow VicEmergency, see www.emergency.vic.gov.au or download the VicEmergency App. We have been receiving a lot of messages and calls for people wanting to help, however Pakenham South Community Hall is not the hall. It is the Pakenham Hall located at the library in Pakenham. Your calls and messages for support is a wonderful community spirit and sure would be appreciated at the relief centre. We wish everyone a safe night and enormous thanks to the fire fighters and your families.

Memorial grounds, In honoring all the service Men and Women who fought and gave their lives for our freedom ,This will commence at 1.00pm - 4.00pm .A Sausage Sizzle, coffee and tea will be provided.
