Massive thanks to our Major Sponsors - Absolute Personnel who have spent close to $18,000.00 on food and labour to send out 4200 meals. Pro Bros and Speiss Meats are absolute champions contributing large portions of food to the cause... Whilst its sad to be finishing up the free food - it is positive to see many of those in need returning work work as hospitality fires up again this coming Monday. Th...e Palace Hotel will be open again for 50 persons from Monday including many of our facilities (including those we are not allowed to advertise... This is not a post to beg for likes - we are merely just one business amongst many here in Haymarket who just wanted to make life easier for those who didnt make the safety net of support. 23.01.2022 Hi friends. Thanks for your enquiries regarding the possibility of opening from tomorrow. Whilst we are certainly pleased and excited about the movement towards reopening, it is simply not an option for us at the moment. As has been well covered in the media, it is not profitable for us to provide a food and beverage service with the current restrictions on numbers in our very large venue of over 1000sqm. We will have an invite only event at some stage for members but until w...e can allow for larger numbers to enter our premises, we have to wait and continue our preparation for that time. We continue to have our bottleshop open and trading with limited stock on hand (plenty of cheap wine and the cheapest Smirnoff Vodka in Australia!) from 10am - 9pm daily and we look forward to having you back with us hopefully in a short period of time. 08.01.2022 Hi Everyone. The bottle shop is closed today. Although some takeaway alcohol is allowed this year on Good Friday, it is only allowed with meals purchased at the same time. We currently cannot offer meals that would be suitable to adhere to the spirit of this law. We are working on a takeaway food menu hopefully that will commence next week - stay tuned for more details. We will be opening tomorrow (Saturday) for bottle shop sales again from 12pm - 8pm and then will be close...d Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday we will return to normal bottles shop trading 10am - 9pm daily until further notice. As of today, the Palace Bar has been converted to a take away ...Bottleshop serving not only our packaged products but also our new Growlers which we fill and refill with our awesome fresh draught beer! We have set our prices to be cheaper than Dan Murphys so we can move it quickly. We have a heap to sell and sales are going through nicely. Yes there will be some special rules such as being as Covid safe as we can, registering on entry, patron limits, booking group size limits, seating, hand sanitising, but I'm sure you will all be great participants in joining us and enjoying some food, beverage and entertainment when we fling the doors wide open at 10am. We intend to play by all of the rules - no exceptions. We thank you for your patience and hope to see you very very soon...! If you have missed what we have been up to since March 23rd, we have given away 4200 free meals to those hardest hit by CoVid19, sold over 300 growlers of fresh draught beer takeaway, opened for 10 patrons on Friday May 15th and everyday since and tomorrow we open that up to 50 people. Whilst we have another 4 separate dining areas and our capacity increases to 250 with our 1000 sqm, we are only ready for smaller numbers until we get back on our feet. So - get in your Sunday best and get down to the Palace - we will be waiting for you!

We know some of your are confused by the new rules so I thought we would clear some of that up here... We only have one entry from Hay St. Once you enter... into the Trophy Room, we need you to sign in by using one of two choices by using pen and paper on our registration form or being all technologically advanced and taking a snap of ou...r QR code and using auto fill to log your details (much quicker and will certainly impress members of the opposite sex ) When you move through to the bar... make your choices of food and beverage and find your seats. Please dont change seats or move furniture around as we have set it out to abide by our 1.5m distancing. We cant take bookings for groups of more than ten. Not even 2 groups booked separately... this is not the spirit of the law or what we are trying to accomplish... Please make use of our hand sanisitisers available everywhere... and please dont stand up to drink or eat... we need you seated. If we all follow the rules like the cool cats we might be able to relax our restrictions even further like those progressive Kiwis! We cant let them have all the fun right???
