22.01.2022 LASH TIP Avoiding water will not keep lash extensions on longer, it has the opposite effect! Your lash extension retention will be compromised when you avoid cleansing them.. It is essential to cleanse your lashes daily. Improper cleansing or avoiding cleansing all together will cause problems i.e. poor retention, infection, irritation, poor lash health and even lash mites..... Dead skin cells, makeup and oil residue will gradually weaken the glues bond resulting in extensions falling off prematurely instead of falling out when the natural lash is shed. Always come to your lash appointment with freshly cleansed lashes. Don’t wear any mascara to your appointment as removing it is tedious and reduces lash application time. Mascara residue can also cause poor adhesion resulting in your lashes not lasting as long. If you feel the need to wear mascara it MUST be a lash extension safe mascara
