25.01.2022 Always wanted to make these stools but never had the right pallets with the cut out rails. Pleased with the colours that came out with the tung oil....and the seat was finished off with some pieces that snapped through knots when I pulled the pallets apart.

25.01.2022 Love the look of this.... Have purchased one and will post my thoughts!

24.01.2022 Ambient lighting

24.01.2022 Storage for under the bed....a trundle with wheels recycled from an old couch. Easy access and loads of room!!

24.01.2022 Sick of the horse tack laying around over chairs so whipped this up today - will do the job for now I think

24.01.2022 Used my thicknesser to strip back some old hardwood palings...pretty pleased with the result and was still able to retain some of the rustic qualities of the timber I love...like worm tracks!! Dabbled in stencils and finished with several layers of Carnauba Wax...time for a final buff

23.01.2022 A lil something else I knocked up today. Love the flaws in the timber edges.....every piece individual....

23.01.2022 Started a new project to repurpose cushions from an old couch today.

22.01.2022 Think big....line a stable, make doors and dividers from pallet palings...or go for the whole barn!

20.01.2022 A couple of quick projects today...a bench seat made from scraps and a slimline table perfect for the laundry to disguise the kittys litter tray. Couldnt believe the colour in the table top...its just weathered pine!!

20.01.2022 How Wood is Cut - I never knew! Interesting!

20.01.2022 Coming together....slowly

17.01.2022 Knocked up a handy crate for the dogs leads and collars today!!

17.01.2022 Todays project....a bathroom shelf with towel rail

15.01.2022 A beer caddy or condiment holder?? I used Tung Oil and Carnauba Wax to bring the colours out...

15.01.2022 Pallet coasters....made from pallets of course!

15.01.2022 Excited to acquire some old timber from the Lakes Entrance jetty!! These will make awesome legs for a wool classing table Im planning on upcycling and finishing off with a huge piece of glass

15.01.2022 Old hardwood comes up with some beautiful colours just with Tung Oil

14.01.2022 Trays are handy things. Light them up with candles to make a centrepiece. Keeping the internal surface light in colour will help to reflect the glow from the candles, so I found out!

13.01.2022 Hardwood and pine pallets become a table!

13.01.2022 Continued finishing up some recent projects with a few coats of varnish. Love the contrast between the fresh pine and aged hardwood on the lamp stand...now to make a shade for it!!

11.01.2022 A work in progress....

09.01.2022 From a hardwood pallet comes a myriad of colour and texture!!

09.01.2022 A storage tree for fruit and veg!

08.01.2022 A lil something to disguise the Christmas tree bucket.... Built in kitty deterrent as well with fresh holly branches placed around the base of the tree

06.01.2022 Another project underway....working on the doors at the moment. Always a challenge with the inconsistencies that come with pallet boards

06.01.2022 This weekends challenge....accepted!!

05.01.2022 Another combo piece....pine pallet, pine legs with hardwood palings for a frame and top. Walnut stained, chalk paint stencilled and branded.....finished with Carnauba wax. A piece I really enjoyed seeing come together

05.01.2022 A couple of pallets frame the cats new bed...think there may be a fight for top spot!! A challenge boxing in uneven timbers though!

04.01.2022 Made up a couple of boxes today using a pallet as the base on each. One for off cuts for the fire....one for off cuts thatll be used in other projects

03.01.2022 Using different finishes will change the appearance of otherwise plain timber. Here a lacquer over a vinegar and steel wool mix has coloured the pine to a deep brown.

02.01.2022 Conceptual design....thanks to overflowing bookshelves and piles of CDs!!

02.01.2022 A long time coming....but the doors are finally on!!

02.01.2022 Hardwood pallet palings used to form a bridge.

01.01.2022 LOL....I also have one of these!!!!

01.01.2022 A couple of pallets, some screws add a splash of marine varnish and.....voila! An outdoor table top....
