12.01.2022 Just a quick FYI, I was at the 19th Ave shops this afternoon with my 6 year old daughter, mid-shop she had to go to the toilet, I took her to the toilets in th...e alley next to the bakery, she went into the third cubicle and I stood in front of it, I noticed a noise in the fourth cubicle and then saw hands on the ground, I thought an older lady must have had a fall, but when I looked around into the toilet there was a guy on the ground looking under the stall up at my daughter, she has run out saying there was a man looking at her, at the same time he came out of the toilet to where we were standing moaning and adjusting his pants, I grabbed her and ran out, we went back to Woolworths and spoke to the staff, they went out and found him in the toilet. They have told me he was mentally disabled and his mother, who had been shopping, had come in and was trying to get him out of there. He was about early 20’s and a big build. Woolies staff got the licence plate which has been given to QLD Police to follow up. I didn’t know whether to post about it or not, but couldn’t risk anyone being hurt. Please take care using these toilets especially with kids. See more

05.01.2022 Anyone seen this horrible human being!!!!
05.01.2022 Shared from Tugun Neighbourhood Watch 4224 Not the only pissed off local Im sure Dear Politicians of the Southern GC... CC: Soft Magistrates It must be election time. Pretty hard to miss with a thousand mug shot signs erected every five metres on every road corner. And the promises. The empty promises. The cliché fix the M1 is there. But we now have Tough on Crime promises. What are the chances of a follow through? I would say slim. Very slim. How good is the juvenile crime wave you have created! The residents of the southern end of the Gold Coast have had enough. Small businesses and their staff are being threatened Elderly locals scared to sleep Hard-working locals having their cars and tools taken Young kids worried they will get rolled at shops Public transport violence for drivers and paying customers (not freeloading thugs) Break and enters every night The Youth Justice Act was designed to give kids that made a poor decision a second chance. We were all young once and we've all done stupid stuff that we regret. However, this Act is a complete joke and these POS know it. They thrive on it. They are untouchable. You've seen their response on TV clips and social media. 'They can't touch us' ' What are you going to do, hit a 16-year-old?' 'Juvie aint bad'. 'We got arrested and nothing happened to us'. Breech of Bail laws will Fix this.. being touted by LNP. (Hopefully, worth a try..) as we are not hearing any other ideas to address the issue from our state government. It is out of control and growing. These thugs now have notoriety through social media. Great. They are now influencing other young losers to follow their lead. Dont give them airtime on any social media platforms, block them. Shame them. It's a plague and it is getting worse by the day. Like sewer rats, they're multiplying. There are kids desperate to join them. A generation that has escaped any discipline from parents, teachers or police useless, sitting around on benefits playing Grand Theft Auto has now just turned to their daily routine. They know the system. Their rap sheets are longer than your empty election promises. And the hard pill to swallow is there's a chance our taxes are supporting their lifestyle through all sorts of Centrelink's lurks. They wouldn't know hard work, probably have never worked a day in their life, nor some of their parents. Generation entitlement. Enough. You have created this situation. You fix it. Now. Which politician is going to stand up and create a deterrent to youth crime? How about some of these decision-makers travel around with the police and see how well their Youth Justice Act is working. Tougher penalties. Absolutely yes. I can touch my mobile phone and be fined $1000, these scum bags, break into your house, steal your car and work tools and possibly torch your car and be back doing it all again in a few nights. Put electronic trackers on these dickheads. I would like to see electric shock necklaces as well. Pity the do gooders wouldnt allow that. Compulsory military-type detention camps. Why not? Create facilities. Ship them off for some good old-fashioned boot camp. Not summer camp style resort camps with internet and video games and better food than our returning soldiers get served up in nursing homes. Some of them are probably crying out for some guidance and discipline. Have them get some trade or job skills while they are there so they can contribute to society rather than take, maybe hold a wipper snipper for a few months tidying up our roadsides the council neglects. So, Mr. or Mrs. Politician, we the people who vote you in are sick of inaction. Instead of worry about pushing light rail through Burleigh, Palm Beach and onto the airport (where it is not required, or welcomed) only ferrying these scumbags down here, free of charge. Address it now. This is a priority for safety, justice and for the reputation of our area and the tourism dollar we depend on. Or are you just another promise-making myth more worried about your 1000s of voting headshot signs being stolen or damaged? Yours sincerely Pissed off local

01.01.2022 Hoping I can get some help with locating my sons lost mobile phone. It fell out of his pocket this afternoon in the park behind the Pines Shopping Centre. There...'s a walkway along the lake that is frequented by many walkers. It's a iPhone 5 in a black case. It's got a small crack on the screen and the battery is pretty dodgy. But he needs it urgently. Small reward offered. No questions asked. TIA See more
