21.01.2022 Who knows the story behind this larger-than-life bronze statue in Cunnamulla? This is the Cunnamulla Fella, the iconic Aussie bush character. A statue was erected as a tribute to the song of the same name, written by Stan Coster and sung by Slim Dusty in 2005. We visit Cunnamulla on our Meet the Outback Characters extended tour.... These murals are found in the small town of Devenish in North East Victoria and were painted by Melbourne street artist, Cam Scale. These artworks were unveiled on Anzac Day in 2018 as a tribute to the 100-year centenary of the end of the First World War.... On one of our tours you get to meet Outback Dan and the Walker family and visit their property that hosted the Queen and Prince Phillip as you experience a working sheep and cattle station in Longreach, Queensland. We meander through the historical Homestead gardens, Shearing Shed and Cattle Yards then tour the farm and enjoy nibbles and drinks on sunset.
