23.01.2022 Frog Hotels are an excellent way to reduce mosquitoes and crop damaging bugs from your garden. In our demonstartion we'll show you how to install a cafe in you...r Frog Hotel but if you want to provide your little green friends with a 5 star restaurant then place the hotel in your veggie garden. Frogs will not only reduce mozzies and biting flies, they'll also gobble up the crop destroying bugs and plant predators. Join us on Facebook Live Thursday 1st October at 10am for our frog friendly workshop. See more

14.01.2022 I stole this post but thought it was so good had to share.

14.01.2022 The Regional Force Surveillance Group Training and Education Centre (RTEC) at Defence Establishment Berrimah kindly invitited Palmerston Lions Club to give an award to an emerging leader for the new recruits who have been going through 17 weeks of training. The RTEC is the realisation of numerous people dedicated to the training and operation of the Regional Force Surveillance Group (RFSG) led by Colonel John Papalitsas, CSC. The traing has indigenous people from around Aust...ralia come and do training with the RFSG indigenous training unit and Batchelor College. Australian Army Defence Australia The cadets who marched our should be proud ro uave achieved so much and where ever life takes them they will do so well. Congratulations to PTE (R) Jordan Thomas as our first recipient of this perpetual trophy. Jordan now plans to join tue regular army and starts basic training January 2021. The trophy meaning: The bugal is used to call revali charges and reteats; it is used only with the direction of the officer or NCO in command. The bugal, being symbolic to cavalry, represents the mounted soliders of Norforce past nacaroos. The compass symbolises the knowledge to lead and know ones path, to take charge and navigate life's challenges. The compass is also carried buy the officer or NCO in command. The bugal and the compass are both representative of leadership and the responsibility that comes with this title. Representing not just ones self but that of their colleagues; a responsibility that not all can achieve and earn.
