24.01.2022 PICC Christmas and New Year’s opening hours: The Safe Haven, Women’s Service and Fuel are open 24 hours every day. The Parenting Program and NDIS Services finish up on Wednesday 23 December and restart on Monday 4 January.... The SDFVS closes at noon on Thursday 24 December and reopens on Monday 4 January. All other services and programs and the Townsville office close at the end of Thursday 24 December and reopen on Monday 4 January.

15.01.2022 The Farm Road Fuel Station will reopen at 11 o’clock today. Unfortunately, the new fuel system is not yet working correctly, and so the Fuel Station is only able to sell up to 20 litres per vehicle. Additional fuel is available if you bring your own jerry can. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience to you while this problem is fixed, and we will let you know when fuel sales are back to normal.

06.01.2022 PICC says Not now, not ever to domestic violence. Come to Fred Clay Park from 3 o’clock tomorrow to mark Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month with the Palm Island DV Network. There will be stalls and information, a march against violence, guest speakers, food and drinks, and a candlelight ceremony. Please join us to show that all of Palm is united against domestic violence.
