25.01.2022 Looks like the Cricket will be the winner today!! not a cloud in the sky this morning!! Updates from our Senior Semi Finals 2s- at Maroochydore-... *unable to have play Saturday due wet fields Fingers crossed for today! 4s- At Palmwoods Sportground vs Maroochydore Palmwoods all out 104. Maroochydore 5/88 at stumps. 5s- at Briggs Palmwoods vs Nambour Nambour all out for 130 Palmwoods 2/74 at stumps 6s- at Read park vs Tewantin Noosa * unable to play Saturday due to wet fields-Fingers crossed for today! Goodluck to all our seniors teams- we encourage our members to grab a coffee get around to some games and cheer our teams into Grandfinals next weekend. Play hard, play fair but most of all have fun! 23.01.2022 We now have a new way to check in at our grounds! The team behind the QR code check in system have now developed an APP to make checking in at our grounds so much easier! No more web form every time!!! The new Check-In App is now available for download from both the App Store & Google play store! For ios please download from the App Store:... https://apps.apple.com/app/id1535362195 For android please download from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details Once you have downloaded the app, set your details once then all you have to do each time you need to sign in is open the app and check in at the required location! Each time you visit a ground with this same app you can save those locations to the app for future check-ins! But don’t worry all of our grounds will still have the old school pen and paper for those that are unable to use the app! It's a great opportunity for not just PCC but the hinterland and surrounds and all visiting clubs across both sports! Watch this space!

So for our ladies - that's the end of our season....It's a disappointing way to end, however a huge thank you must go out to all our supporters that came to our games, our super coach, assistant coach and umpires, scorer extraordinaire & groundsmen who provided fantastic grounds each home game!

08.01.2022 Good morning all - no doubt you are all aware of the information which is broadly available in the media; and given the impact to players across our clubs, the... decision has been made that there will be no cricket this weekend. Play is officially abandoned with the Men’s Comp to revert to a 1-Dayer next weekend and the Women’s Comp will be reviewed to established if the round can be fitted in prior to season end. So many of us have been in Greater Brisbane since 2nd January or have been in contact with others who have. We are expecting a directive from QC regarding Premier Cricket this morning. Take care everyone and let’s do the right thing!

The Gardiner family have been part of the Palmwoods community for many decades and invaluable volunteers for our club, from being players, to mowing fields, to serving on committees. 03.01.2022 Hi all! With preseason senior training starting back today at The Sportsground, please ensure you register your attendance. You will find in the breezeway on the canteen door and home team door 2 new posters containing our COVID Safe Attendance Register App QR Code. Simply scan this QR code with your camera on your phone and fill in your details! Please sign in and again out as you leave! We ask that you only enter the ground via the breezeway to do this! Hand sanitiser and wipes are located at the ground to be used. I ask you all to do your part to do the right thing! Thanks Mel Shelley PCC President 2020/21
