24.01.2022 Just a reminder that the Christmas Hamper items are due in TOMORROW (Wednesday 2nd) Hopefully by now you should’ve received your item to bring in for the Christmas hamper for next week. Our class teacher sent ours out by Seesaw. I’ve copied the list of items below (1H our personalised list is on our 1H FB page or on the Seesaw app) Christmas Hamper items...... Feel free to bring one or two items of food that are NON-PERISHABLE, have a long expiry/use by date, pull rings on cans if possible and please no ‘no-name’ brands.... these items are a gift. Tinned fruit Tinned meat/fish Tinned meal (baked beans/spaghetti) Pasta/rice Pasta sauce Curry or stir fry sauce Cereal/ pancake mix Spread - jam or Vegemite Savoury biscuits Sweet biscuits Lollies Bottle of juice Packet of chips Long life milk Long life custard Long life cream Christmas pudding or mince pies Christmas bonbons

20.01.2022 As there are only a few weeks left of term, some menu items will become unavailable when we reach out of stock. As such, we will be making our ‘daily specials’ available for each day of operation (eg - sushi bowls will be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) until these items run out of stock. This will come into effect from next week - Wednesday Nov 18th. Thank you!

14.01.2022 Christmas Stall The Christmas Stall will be held at school on Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th, and Friday 27th November 2020. Where: Palmwoods State School, Old Canteen under Year 1 Times: 8am to 9am, 1st break, 2nd break and last session times scheduled for Prep Year 3.... Social distancing will be in place. Students have the opportunity to purchase Christmas Gifts from $1.00. Come and visit with your child or send them with some money so they can surprise you. There will be a huge range of gifts to purchase in time for Christmas see attached flyer. We would love some volunteers to help at the stall over these days if you can help, please contact the P&C Association.

13.01.2022 Hi families, Monday 16th November and Tuesday 17th of November. Kids Club is having a drainage system installed in our front walk way to prevent flooding durin...g storms. For drop off and pick up on these two days, we will be using the gate up the hill and down the drive way for access to Kids Club. We apologise for any inconvenience, and will be back using our normal gate on Wednesday morning! See more

11.01.2022 Don’t forget it’s Halloween Fun Food Day tomorrow! The ladies have been busy this week. How adorable (I mean scary) do these monster cupcakes look?! There will be some available tomorrow if you didn’t pre-order, but they will go quick I’m sure.

10.01.2022 Hi parents, two more days of tuckshop for the year. We still have pizzas, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, and burgers available. We have sold out of calippos! But have stocked up on juice ice blocks ($0.50c), icy twists ($1.50), splices and paddle pops ($2) and frozen yogurts ($2.50) to get the kiddos through these last couple of hot days!

07.01.2022 Halloween Movie Night. Don’t forget to pre register for the movie night on October 30th. Come dressed in your scariest costume! Food, drinks and glow sticks will be available for purchase on the night. Gates open at 5.30pm for a 6.30pm start. Please note there is a COVID safe plan in place for this event and social distancing must be adhered to. Contact details will be required on arrival.
