19.01.2022 We are all set to go for Bush Kindy, take a look at the childrens gorgeous vests. Risk assessment- check Pre site checklist- check Authorisation forms- now ready to be signed, these have been emailed today and printed versions are now available at the front entrance, please complete timely so we can go exploring ASAP!!... We are so very excited to bring this weekly addition to our curriculum, nature play is so educational and FUN !!

15.01.2022 The children at PELC are now capable and responsible pet carers, many a discussion has been held today amongst the children in regard to ensuring our donated baby silkie chicks are well looked after, fed, watered, safe and comfortable. A big thank you to the Philbrick family who just knew we would love to adopt these precious chicks oh what learning opportunities we will have

(although formally NAIDOC week has been delayed to October- due to COVID 19), we went ahead with our plans to have Jason Morris join us to play the didgeridoo in our stunning bush kindy.... what a great morning we had !

02.01.2022 A busy day of learning all about recycling and rescuing resources. Thank you Eve from Sunshine Coast Council Waste to Resources program for sharing your knowledge, the children were just as keen to share their knowledge and what we have been implementing daily by recycling our waste, reusing our food scraps as compost and to feed our worms (a fire truck and 2 officers also popped in today and will return again in a few weeks time to educate the children on fire safety). How exciting are our days here @ PELC !!.
