20.01.2022 It is with much pleasure that we post who has won our Remembrance Day Raffle. The Palmwoods and District RSL Sub Branch truly thanks all who supported us in purchasing raffle tickets this time. Coral and Trevor were very happy to hear that they won PTE Murray and said he would be treasured in their home. They bought their tickets when we were selling outside the Woombye Bakery. Again thanks to everyone who bought a ticket.

18.01.2022 People, our sub branch will be celebrating its 100th anniversary on 10/10/2020. Our first assembly as a group was on Friday 14th of May, 1920. Here we are 100 years later celebrating at the same place with renewed spirit and enthusiasm. Watch this space for developments over the coming days.

18.01.2022 To all interested parties, we hold our monthly meeting on the first Sunday of the month at 0900h at the Palmwoods hall. Please let your ex-serving friends know. See you there!

Below is a picture of Nambour on Anzac Day in 1925 to get your juices flowing!! We’re celebrating our 100th year this year and we’re on the hunt for all things historical to do with our District. We are keen to start a display in our small but active RSL at the Palmwoods Hall so that the Community has access.
