25.01.2022 There were certainly no winners in 2020 and Fuck knows how 2021 is going to play out, so strap in. But, we did learn a couple of things in the asshole year that was.... (1) Community is EVERYTHING. Our Pambula Oyster Cult absolutely kicks arse and we love you guys!!!! (2) Laugh at anything and everything, it ALWAYS helps and last but in no way least (3) Always keep a healthy stash of dunny rolls on hand because you never know when this bitch is getting locked down. Cheers to the New Year! BigPOCOx

23.01.2022 According to this little beach rat, all evening dips should end like this. Yeah sure Maisy, we're on it

18.01.2022 Pambula Rock Oyster // Born and raised in Pambula Lake. The rock oyster and native flat oyster (Angasi) are endemic to Australia, whilst the Pacific oyster was introduced from Japan in the 1940s. Lots of estuaries grow all three species but not Pambula Lake. We are only licenced to grow rocks and the odd Angasi (if you dare). Does that make us a little bit special? Hmm um yes. Does that make our oysters taste better? Well duh, of course, it does! Thanks so much to Sam from @thecandidfiles for capturing my madness. You were a breeze to work with and the Valley is already missing you! And to my wingwoman Ra, thanks for your hand modelling efforts.....you win a lifetime supply of oysters !

16.01.2022 POCO Rocks mixing it at the very sexy and sultry Gwylo Mollymook! We have definitely gotta road trip up that way real soon! Thanks for the order gang and have a ripper long weekend - bursting with lots of hungry customers of course! Repost @gwylomollymook The Boo Crew are ready to serve you some of the best Asian street eats you’ve wrapped your lips around . ... 15.01.2022 Nectar of the Gods So, we love a good downpour, but when we get too much rain, it lowers the estuary salinity and triggers a law closure. We were already closed for harvest due to heavy rain last weekend, but this recent hit will see us closed for a little longer. Will let you know as soon as we are back on. Sorry peeps xx

14.01.2022 Happy bday Leic. We love you. Here’s a bombe Alaska bday cake with the strawberry ice cream from this morning. Nothing better.

12.01.2022 Harvesting some of these bad boys today for our online orders! Tempted? Hit up our online shop (today) and we should be able to get them to you before the weekend

12.01.2022 Absolutely cracking beer Matt @boatrockerbrew. Beautiful bright and complex barrel aged wild ale. Nice one mate. Pairs wonderfully with braised pork belly in my 15 year old master stock. Happy days.

12.01.2022 After an extra-long stint being closed for harvest due to rain, WE’RE BACK and the online shop is OPEN. And for those asking about Christmas orders, we are sorting that out now and will have the website updated with details by the end of the week. Stay tuned. BigPOCOx

11.01.2022 #Repost @kowloonchillico @patrickfriesen Head on down to @jbsons x @kowloonchillico this Sunday for some of these juicy @pambulaoysterco oysters. Shucked fresh to order, they are one of life’s great pleasures.

11.01.2022 We weren't lying when we said we grow #oystersforthepeople and you still have a couple of days up your sleeve to order a Christmas Box Details on our website www.pambulaoysterco.com

10.01.2022 They say that business shouldn't be personal, but it's personal for us. We are grateful for everyone that stops by our website and supports our oysters. Even though we have FAQs on our website, sometimes you need the extra clarification and that's totally fine. Just give us a call ( 0402760647) and we would be happy to talk you through any queries. We love a good chinwag!

08.01.2022 Yesterday’s salt baked ocean trout on the @traegergrills smoker was #xmaslunch

07.01.2022 Not gonna lie, we suck arse at being the face of our brand. I'm camera shy and get a weird twitch whenever a lens is within spitting distance and Mark just thinks this whole thing is naff. So between us, we are absolute shockers! But for those who are curious about who the hell steers the Pambula Oyster Co. ship? Its just the two of us. Here is a rare snap of us at an event a couple of years back, although it captures us perfectly. Silly, crude, clearly not polished and pretty much always having fun doing what we loveBigPOCOx

06.01.2022 This is AWESOME!!!! We had the pleasure of showing @patrickfriesen and his fam around the farm last month so obviously, we are stoked to hear that his side hustle @kowloonchillico is popping up at the legendary @jbsons. The XO Bloody Mary alone should be enough to get you in the door Repost @patrickfriesen @kowloonchillico Starting this Sunday and for the next four sundays @kowloonchillico and @jbsons are collaborating on some food and drinks. You can expect sydney rock oysters by @pambulaoysterco, handmade pork and chive dumplings with @kowloonchillico chilli oil, a xo Bloody Mary that reminds me of Canada’s signature cocktail the Caesar and a few other things pictured here. This menu will run from 12-4 as well as @jbsons classics. Come visit me as I come out of my ergo baby and back into an apron for the day.

04.01.2022 Recycling on point @matildananand. We are stoked to see Matilda putting her used hessian sacks to good use and in such a creative way. Hopefully, it keeps the Kikuyu grass at bay?!

04.01.2022 Christmas is done and dusted which means New Years, you’re up next. No need to be a square, shellebrate in style like @julioefm (seriously Julio, epic photo). And, to help you get the party started we have decided to reopen the online shop for the next 24 hours so you can bag your oyster loot. www.pambulaoysterco.com... But delivery is ONLY available to customers located in Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, Wollongong, South Coast NSW, Canberra, Southern Highlands, Dubbo region, Orange region, Wagga region, Albury/Woodonga, Shepparton and Melbourne. Sorry to our regional and interstate friends, we won't be ale to get them to you in time. Happy New Year! BigPOCOx

03.01.2022 Just a quick PSA: We know some of you are eagerly awaiting the reopening of the online shop but mother nature has struck again. We came close to reopening, but got rained out before we could sneak in a harvest. Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait it out for another week or two or three Thanks for your understanding. BigPOCOx

02.01.2022 So for Xmas this year we decided to do something different. For the first time since we started, the only place you could purchase our oysters was directly through us via our kickass online shop. Bit of a gamble but the response has been absolutely overwhelming. The store has grown organically since we opened it years ago but the leap it took this Xmas was amazing. There’s no better feeling than being truly independent. We’ll resume regular wholesale methods next year but for now we’re taking a well earned break. Big thanks to everyone that placed an order. Just know that you’re supporting a 100% Australian owned truly independent super small business. No investors, no business partners and certainly no attempt at floating on the stock market lol. Merry Xmas everyone and #getchapull Big POCO

02.01.2022 #Repost from the legends at @balconbytapavino. If you haven't had the pleasure of dining at Balcon in Sydney’s CBD, do yourself a favour and make a booking ASAP! They are straight-up gansters and the food is to die for They were also the very first restaurant to take our oysters when we started and they have been loyal ever since. Thank you so much for the unwavering support guys! We love your work and can't wait to eat and drink SPANISH again real soon. Big POCOx Pam...bula oysters from @pambulaoysterco are back!! The Pambula Oyster Co. adventure started back in 2013 when slightly insane duo Mark and Leicia McKillop had a bright idea to ditch their day jobs and blow their entire life savings on buying an oyster farm, so they could live their best life on the Sapphire Coast. They thought life with their two daughters and very lazy pug could be simpler, less stressful and most of all fun. Just quietly, they were right. They grow oysters for the people. EAT SPANISH... DRINK SPANISH __________ #sydney CBD

02.01.2022 Thanks for the shoutout Matt! Glad you had a sweet day. Oysters and House White sound like a match made in heaven. We can’t wait to smash up this combo together when you get out of the COVID prison. Stay classy! BigPOCOx #Repost @boatrockerbrew A quick message from captain Matt - ... Happy Father's Day everyone! We hope you had a chance to have fun with your family, and enjoy a few treats... we received some very special treats from our good friends @pambulaoysterco just in time for the weekend, if you get a chance, please order from them, as they ship direct in no time, and let's face it, everyone should learn how to shuck an oyster, especially when they are Australia's best! These were washed down with the perfectly paired House White... delish!! See more
