22.01.2022 Kate Edwards Kate’s career sum up goes like this: It started in her schooling where she began at Narre Warren North kinder, she then moved to St Margarets private college. Over her schooling years she participated in a few sports such as tennis, netball and basketball. At the age of sixteen Kate left school and began her four year apprenticeship that she carried out to the end, while jumping between three different salons!! ... Once Kate completed her apprenticeship she worked in a salon for fifteen years!!! In 2008 PAMPERLAND WAS BORN! Kate has successfully run her salon for 12years as well as having a family life! Now a bit on her personal life journey: Kate went travelling around Europe for three years! Whilst over there in 2000 she met the love of her life JOHN!!!!! Kate and John worked in pubs over there for quite some time and then moved back to good old Australia where they later on tied the knot and got married in 2004! In 2008 Kate and John began their little family, whilst juggling nappies and Little Shankly Kate opened up Pamperland! The Pamperland journey began by renting a space in Berwick, then in 2011 the salon was relocated to Lakeside where it stayed for a number of years. In need of a change of scenery Kate found our new spot in Beaconsfield! 2020 has been a bumpy road for everyone and moving to a new area and salon is tough on a business owner because of the uncertainty. However the Pamperland team has grown!!! With two new salon members! Now over the years Kate’s gorgeous family has grown quite a bit in the forms of feathers and fluff. She has Baby Bobby her feline friend, she has Jasper her sweet Staffy, and Martini the Photogenic Blue and gold Macaw!! Lastly a note from Kate I am very thankful to all my staff past and present for everything they have done for Pamperland it wouldn’t be where it is today without there help. Clients are amazing (goes without saying!)

20.01.2022 Hiya everyone!! Here is an update of what our team has been up to over the break. So Kate has been having many snuggles with her kitty and has had her gorgeous bird Martini out and helping Shankly with his school work, how’s that for a personal teacher!! She has also given her cute Staffy Jasper a big bath and washed his blanket, he wasn’t to pleased about his blanket not smelling the same though . We will be doing another update tomorrow on someone else ... Stay safe everyone, much love, the Pamperland girls.

19.01.2022 Hiya everyone, today I (Tahlia) decided that I needed to create a do’s and do not’s video. I go over what you can and can not use on your hair during these next few weeks until the salon opens back up. However. If you are desperate for shampoo and conditioner, there are hair suppliers that are doing click and collect or online orders. Please use this option instead of going to a supermarket and picking up whatever smells pretty. 17.01.2022 So this is our 20 year old full time stylist Tahlia Buck. Tahlia completed her three year apprenticeship on October 1st last year. She then came to us at Pamperland late March. Tahlia has been working in salons since she was 14, she started with doing work experience through her school and then volunteering at other salons on weekends. She knew she wanted to be in this industry since she was 12. In year 11 she went to Chisholm and completed her hair and beauty VCAL course a...nd then jumped into an apprenticeship. A favourite moment of Tahlia’s career was going to Sydney last year and being apart of a showcase where she designed and created a hairpiece that was then worn on stage in front of hundreds of people at the Royal Sydney hair show 2019. A goal that Tahlia wishes to achieve over the next year is to undertake a barbering course and have another certificate under her belt. Tahlia loves to do bright and crazy colours in the salon, but she loves the chance to create a perfect blonde as well. On a personal note, Tahlia is one of three at home (middle child), and she lives at home with her siblings and mum and dad. She has two pets, her pooch Jaspa and her rag doll cat Raj. In her spare time Tahlia will hang out with mates and her boyfriend. She has also recently taken up a new hobby with her boyfriend’s mum, she is now a horsey girl . So now her fancy cowboy boots aren’t just for show . So that was our girl Tahlia, she loves her new job at Pamperland and is our social media girl. I love my new job! I’m so happy to be in a salon where I feel that I belong in, and I have a team around me that is so fun and builds each other up everyday! #meettheteam #gettoknowyourstylist #thepamperlandcollection #hairbytahlz
