09.01.2022 As I’m rolling into 4yrs having the salon I was recently off work sick for a week and it made me realise how much I have to be thankful for... the beautiful girls that I work with who picked up my pieces and kept the salon running and the many many amazing clients that I have! Most I see more often than I see friends and family! I might meet you once or see you once a month, you might be passing thru or moving home or a long time client that I hear all about your lives ... Today I saw Peter who once a month tells me the current news and updates of Albury/wodonga, last week I saw Suzi who’s mum had just passed away, yesterday I saw Judy who’s daughter just had a beautiful baby boy, last month I saw Sally who’s husband had just left her. Today I saw Pauline who’s holiday to the coast was amazing, on Tuesday I saw Laura who’s wedding hair we started to plan, last night I saw Jess and her mum who made me laugh so hard I almost cried... On all of these days, I may have laughed, I may have cried, but I was there to be a part of each and every ones life! As small a part as it may have been! I feel thankful that I may have helped you smile, or laugh or even just listened when that’s what you needed, because that’s what I’ve also needed... to be surrounded by beautiful people To be happy in the moment is enough sometimes! And I am grateful for each moment! I have worked in a salon since I was 13 and my kids say... I just cut hair I do just cut hair but I love and appreciate everything that comes with just cutting hair So thank you, and know you are very much appreciated See more
