Merry Christmas from our Hellenic Macedonian family to yours The Kalanta was our finale... a great night was had by all, hosted by the Vergina Women's Society, with our songstress Zambica De George. Our fabulous Santa and his Elf assistant handed out the gifts (apologies about the Elf emoji!). We had the most beautiful feedback from our gues...ts tonight. And the same goes with our Dimitria Festival. It was an awesome festival, according to you, our supporters. 19.01.2022 Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, the Pan Macedonian Federation of South Australia has made the difficult decision to canc...el this years Dimitria Greek Festival, which was to have been held in November at Kings Reserve. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold the festival for our members and the wider South Australian community, but we know its the right decision based on the information we have to date. Our primary concern has always been the health and safety of our volunteers, vendors and all the people who have enjoyed our Dimitria Greek Festival over the last 41 years. We wish to acknowledge the State Government of South Australia for their strong leadership they have demonstrated and for the way they have marshalled the entire state into observing the directions. To the sponsors of the festival, past and present, we hope that you all get through this challenging period and we urge all our members and the wider community to support those who now need our support. And to all of you, take care of your family and friends and we look forward to seeing you at next years Dimitria Greek Festival. We all need to stay safe and come out healthy and bright, on the other side, when the comes up!... As expected, there will be no functions by the affiliated societies of the Hellenic Macedonian Cultural Centre, including the Pan Macedonian Federation until further notice.
