24.01.2022 What an awesome event for the Varsity College community at our Junior campus. The P&C Father’s Day Stall was a wonderful success and I’m sure Dad’s and caregivers will be very spoilt with special gifts on Sunday. The kids deliberated carefully on their gift selection and it was fantastic to see so many smiling young faces. We also had three very lucky students from Grades 1, 4, and 5 who picked up a Father’s Day prize basket each. With any of these events, it takes a small ...army of special people behind the scenes. To Melanie, Susan, and Marian who managed the Father’s Day Stall from start to finish, a massive thank-you for all your efforts. A thank-you also to Catherine who ordered the stock and prepared the prize baskets. To Melissa Bodley and the Executive team, the Teachers, Grounds & Facility Staff, Student Leaders and Ambassadors, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate all your assistance in making this event run as smoothly as possible. A special mention also to Julie and the OSHC team who provided support and help at every opportunity. Finally, to our band of parent volunteers who came armed with good humour and a real sense of community, a huge thank-you; we could not have run this event without you. Thanks again to everyone concerned, this was a real team effort in every sense and something we should be very proud of during this time. Take Care and Happy Father’s Day. 24.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that the Father's Day stall will be going ahead on Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd September. There will be a great range of gifts, priced from $1.00 - $8.00. Like any P&C event, we will need the support of parent / carer volunteers to help run the stalls. Please click on the SignUpGenius link below if you're available to help. We will post a class timetable in the next couple of days. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we will be running the stall in two ...separate locations this year (hall and the tuckshop area) therefore enabling us to run the stall across two days as per previous years. 08.01.2022 A reminder that the Father's Day stall starts tomorrow on the Primary campus! Running over two days and with gifts priced up to $8, there's something to suit every Dad! There are also three Father's Day baskets to be won (please see the attached photo). Tickets are $1 each & will be available for the kids to purchase at the stall.
