21.01.2022 The Paneltec team responded to an emergency water main repair last week in an extremely remote location with no vehicular access. A section of pipe had washed away following a heavy downpour of rain resulting in the water feed being cut off to the community. The guys transported all the pipe and fittings in with our skid steer loader, built a temporary dam to slow the flow of water, and repaired the pipe to get it back in service quickly. Another great collaborative effort us...ing Paneltec's extensive fleet of vehicles and experienced personnel. We are always ready to respond to whatever problem you may have - any time, anywhere.

12.01.2022 Our directional drilling gurus have been out and about across Tassie lately. Pictured here is a 600mm poly irrigation line installed with our Vermeer 24x40 using a 750mm reamer and below is our latest addition to our HDD fleet - The Toro 4040 on a water main replacement project. The Paneltec Group has one of the largest and most advanced fleet of directional drills in Tasmania. 11.01.2022 The Paneltec Group has always invested heavily in the latest technology and equipment from around the world to deliver innovative solutions and the highest standards of service to our customers. We have increased our fleet of vacuum excavation units to 10, including 4 combination drain cleaning units and featuring the only 2 recycling drain cleaning units in the state. So what exactly does a recycling drain cleaner do?... They remove grease, silt, tree roots, scale and deposits that build up and restrict flow within drains, storm water and sewer lines using high pressure water jetting, whilst simultaneously sucking the drain water into the waste tank that then cleans it and reuses it for jetting. What are the benefits? They’re environmentally friendly because they use significantly less water than conventional vac/drain cleaning trucks. They can work virtually non-stop during the day, boosting productivity by eliminating time-consuming trips to refill water tanks. Less water is sent back into sewer lines, reducing loading on treatment facilities. 09.01.2022 Another recently completed job by The Paneltec Group. The project involved upgrading the existing 100mm in-ground pressure reducing valve and rerouting and/or removing existing pipeworks to facilitate the new installation. The new installation is an above ground 100mm assembly with a 50mm bypass line to allow for maintenance of the main PRV when the need arises. The site posed a number of challenges including lack of access and a substantial amount of ground water due to ground conditions and another beautiful Tassie winter. Our knowledgeable and experienced crews and fleet of vehicles allowed the Paneltec team to complete the job safely, on time and to the usual high quality standards we are known for.

03.01.2022 More Friday night fun for the crew repairing another damaged and badly blocked sewer. The tree planted directly on top had caused major issues and completely broken and blocked the pipe. Again Paneltec were able to respond quickly to resolve the problem. Our crews and extensive fleet of equipment, as well as the traffic experts at Viatec are available 24 hours a day, every single day of the year.
