23.01.2022 We would like to say a huge thank you to one of our very talented supporters and fundraisers, Flynn Boffo. Flynn is a photographer whose Nonna tragically passed away from #pancreaticcancer in 2012. In her memory, he has created a book with original photographs of his grandparents home. All proceeds from this book will be donated to PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. We cannot thank you enough, Flynn, what a thoughtful and beautiful piece of art for such a great cause. If you would like to find out more about Flynn, please visit this link: https://flynn-boffo.square.site//shadows-in-memory-s-eye/1

21.01.2022 Last week, we introduced you to Kelly as she shared some of her and her late sister Kathy’s story. Today, we take this opportunity to share a snapshot of their earlier memories together. Kelly says that despite being a private person, her kind, caring and considered sister would want her to advocate for awareness of #pancreaticcancer. Investment in medical research has resulted in an improvement in patient outcomes for other cancers. Sadly, pancreatic cancer is chronicall...y underfunded. Pancreatic cancer needs investment in research to improve patient outcomes. We encourage you to share this message with your community as well as your own stories with us. Because together we are stronger and together, we are louder. 17.01.2022 The festive season is well and truly upon us, but for some it can be a difficult time of year. One man putting a smile on our faces, himself deeply affected by #pancreaticcancer, is one of our long-time supporters Tim Fares from Wollongong. Tim tragically lost his dad, Len, to the disease in 2015, and this year decided to grow out his beard in Len’s honour, to raise awareness of the disease and critical funds for research. To think that Tim has not shaved once this year - wh...at an incredible feat! We think you and your bauble beard look great, Tim. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and support in 2020. 13.01.2022 Last year, the #PlayinPurple campaign turned sporting fields across Australia purple for #pancreaticcancer and set a record for player and club participation. 09.01.2022 After what has been a difficult and challenging year, we would like to thank you, our community of supporters, donors and partners for your ongoing support in 2020. In addition to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, many have also had to navigate their own or their loved one’s pancreatic cancer journey. As an organisation exclusively dedicated to #pancreaticcancer, it would be impossible for us to make an impact in the areas of research, advocacy and patient support wi...thout the generous and ongoing commitment of so many individuals and organisations. Thank you for your unwavering support this year, and we hope to see you in 2021 so together we can make an even greater impact! #yoursupportmeanseverything
