25.01.2022 Reminiscing back to my last road trip with these guys

25.01.2022 10minutes into married life and they give you these looks Thank you @smeagol91 & @siddlaha for having us throughout all 5 days of your wedding celebrations! #siddgetssavi ... HMUA: @gatherandstitch_beauty Venue: @waterviewvenue Catering: @delhiodelhi Decorators: @decorashaan

25.01.2022 Sim: Make sure you don’t eat any of the desserts before the event starts. *Desserts start to go missing* Harleen: The photographer made me eat it! ... Me: the heck?! P.S - @thesimproject you owe me cake (swipe right if you’ve forgotten :p)

25.01.2022 There’s this whole thing with poses, they’re cool and all - but moments like this are so much better. HMUA: @gatherandstitch_beauty Cake: @dontgiveaham Dj: @djmoochman

24.01.2022 Another cute moment from Ahilan and Sophie’s Wedding earlier this week.

24.01.2022 A magical ending to an amazing day.

24.01.2022 If weve ever taken your photo for pre-wedding/engagement shoot, youll know that they are way more relaxed than your event. The list of things that can go wrong at your event is never-ending; your table decorations colors maybe different from what you wanted, your friends may be running late or you might even forget the ring to your wedding (yes, Ive seen this first-hand). In my opinion, pre-wedding photos are a time you can break away from that chaos. Soak in nature, exp...lore gardens, walk along the beach, go for a hike, and just kick-back with your partner. Why? Because they always lead to more meaningful photos. Find a place thats special to you both and enjoy each other company. You never know, you may want to get married after it all.

23.01.2022 Changing up the feed with a b/w edit from Ganesh and Shapthavys Wedding. Its weird to know how hat the absence of color makes you focus on so many different aspects of a photo.

23.01.2022 James to Tanaya: I love that you’re my best friend. Today we can see that we surrounded ourselves with beautiful people and family that all love and cherish us. I can’t wait to create a family for ourselves. You’ll be an amazing mum. We’ve just had 4 years of amazing memories now we have a lifetime to create more. _____________________________________________________________... It seems like just yesterday that we joined Tanaya and James through their Haldi, Sangeet, and Wedding. Flicking over their photos, we’re taken back to all the small moments that made their day so energetic and lively. Happy Anniversary! Can’t wait to catch up with you both when you're back from your holiday :)

22.01.2022 I'm sifting through more of our archives and finding different ways we approach photos based on a shoot. I'm always a fan of emphasizing emotion through tight shots and showing the chemistry a couple has. However, I'm starting to like the big-scene-small-people idea so much as well. ... What do you guys think? See more

22.01.2022 When everything's wrapped up it's time to let loose, don your favourite sports jersey and show your pride. We always dive onto the dance floor and make sure we capture these moments.

22.01.2022 Ending this series with a sweet sunset. Flick through the last couple of pics if you missed them!

22.01.2022 Pre-wedding photos are all about capturing the best pictures, in the best location you can find, with the best camera you have in the best angle you can see. Hmm nope - that's not for us. If there’s anything that makes a pre-wedding shoot great, it’s about the couple. It’s about the moments, or the moments in-between moments or those moments in-between those moments! ... It’s about having fun and letting go, and not caring about that one strand of hair that falls in front of your eyes that somehow ‘wrecks the photos,’ or why your dress folds in the wrong crease. Next time you take a photo with your loved one, look into your partner’s eye and tell them why you love them, make a funny face, cover their face, compliment them, hold them tight, expect nothing and enjoy the moment. It’s really simple. Just have fun. P.S Hayley and Nihar - we’re definitely looking forward to documenting great moments at your wedding in a couple of weeks! :)

21.01.2022 Weve all seen the bridesmaids first look, but have you seen groomsmen reacting to a groom for the first time?

21.01.2022 Quick teaser from yesterdays pre-wedding shoot with Vithyaa & Vibeshan HMUA: @navreetjohalmua

21.01.2022 Caught this cute moment with Alpana & Manraj in the middle of their first dance

20.01.2022 I’m such a sucker for these shots. I feel like I’ve ticked a massive box if I get you to smile.

20.01.2022 How cute! Their own personal hashtag. Check them out #margsgotsmitten

19.01.2022 We had such a difficult picking which photos to post. Staged wedding photos have their charm as well, but in the end, we kept coming back to those candid shots that we thought best captured their genuine emotions during a moment. Seeing how candids are our speciality, we still had tough picking the best to show.

19.01.2022 Bhav and Ameya had a touch of elegance paired with romance throughout all the liveliness of their wedding celebrations. We had the privilege of capturing the engagement at Sapphire Function Centre In Auburn, along with their wedding in the Sri Mandir Temple. Here’s a teaser film of this beautiful wedding, that shows a fraction of the energy from the night.

17.01.2022 Together as a community, let’s #appreciatethelittlethings with our partner, family, and friends. We’re about to go into a lockdown soon, but that shouldn’t stop up from appreciating the times we’ve had and look forward to all the things that make us happy. I loved going on a hike with Pratik and Manasi to find this spot for their pre-wedding shoot. We were pretty excited to shoot your wedding in 2 weeks, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be amazing later on in the year :)

17.01.2022 Just moments after Sophie and Ahilan got hitched.

16.01.2022 Maddison and Marcus

16.01.2022 The battery bank fan may keep Pawan from sweating too much but it definitely won’t blow away the butterflies in his stomach.

15.01.2022 Just look that light! 15.01.2022 Fun fact: To get photos like this, you have to climb into a bush to get all the foliage around. Whats even more fun? After hiding I sometime scare the public if they cant see me.

15.01.2022 Time's almost up to enter the draw to win $100 off your next shoot with our sister company Solasta Studios!! The deadline has been extended till Thursday 26th July 11:59pm. Good luck!

15.01.2022 There's so much that goes behind the scenes to create a proposal. For Ahilan, he not only DIY’d a rustic stand, found flowers that Sophie liked or even found a photo that Sophie gifted him to set the scene he ensured where he was going the conditions would be perfect. By perfect I mean, scouting the location, watching the weather every couple of hours for rain and making sure the wind wasn’t too harsh on Sophie when he proposed. Hats off to Ahilan for bringing this all togeth...er. Thank you again for sharing such a memorable milestone with us :) @ahilan92 @sophiemelm

14.01.2022 Oh yeah! Nothing screams wedding more than a good old fashion hoisting of the groom.

14.01.2022 Aunties who enjoy a good face smothering at Haldi events, would be dreaming back to what heaven used to be like right about now.

13.01.2022 The restrictions around us may get tighter and tighter, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoy a good chuckle with your partner.

13.01.2022 Alpana and Manraj

13.01.2022 Another one to add to the big-scene-small-people series with Sagar and Trish!

12.01.2022 The beautiful bride, Natasha surrounded by her family and friends, as she is getting ready for her big day. #pannilaphoto #sydneywedding #preweddingshoot #thatsdarling #instawed #gettingmarried #sydneyweedingphotographer #candid #chasinglight #shesaidyes #sydneyprewedding #bridetobe #weddingphotoinspiration #indianwedding #sydneylocal #coupleshoot #hindu

12.01.2022 What a breath taking view to propose. Congratulations to Ahlian and Sophie.

12.01.2022 I almost always get a weird look when I position a couple in a spot, then run and hide in the bush - but its all worth it in the end

12.01.2022 Worried about taking photos with your partner that are ‘social-distance’ friendly? Don’t worry, we gotchu. #COVID19ready HMUA: @fareha_bridal_studio

11.01.2022 Sometimes I ask my couples if they are ticklish. One person always denies it and that’s never the right answer.

11.01.2022 James to Tanaya: I love that youre my best friend. Today we can see that we surrounded ourselves with beautiful people and family that all love and cherish us. 11.01.2022 If you lock people up, they generally come out wanting everything a lot more. I feel like this is gonna be our universal handshake when this is all over. Massive throw back to @harrrman & @aroonbrars Roka Ceremony.

11.01.2022 Im such a sucker for these shots. I feel like Ive ticked a massive box if I get you to smile.

10.01.2022 Two icons in front of two icons. ;)

10.01.2022 Guess this means Pawan will have to do whatever his new mother-in-law says for the rest of his life now. For those who don’t know, as part of the ceremony after the bride’s mother has blessed the groom, she will then attempt to grab the nose of the groom. If she manages to do so, the groom will have to do whatever she says for the rest of his life. Safe to say she’s managed to achieve her goal.

10.01.2022 When we attend weddings as guests, it's easy to forget there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes. For us, it's not just about the ceremony or the reception or the main festivities; all the moments while getting ready are equally as special. It's always amazing to realise how each finishing touch adds a little something to collectively make such a difference.

09.01.2022 Worried about taking photos with your partner that are social-distance friendly? Dont worry, we gotchu. #COVID19ready HMUA: @fareha_bridal_studio

09.01.2022 You don’t see this at everything reception! Margit & Smit’s first dance was their own interpretation of a Disney song. Loved seeing them strutting their stuff on the dance floor.

09.01.2022 We always loved it when the couple set a theme for their reception. Margit & Smit’s theme was Avatar: The Last Airbender which was focused on a young boy’s journey of self-discovery and friendship. This can be seen a mirror to one’s journey into marriage where you and your partner learn and grow together. What are some other great themed weddings and receptions you guys have seen?

09.01.2022 We’ve all seen the bridesmaids’ ‘first look’, but have you seen groomsmen reacting to a groom for the first time?

08.01.2022 For all those that were hooked by the energy of the teaser clip, here’s the rest of the film :) Thanks again, Bhav & Ameya, for having us!

06.01.2022 David and Maandwi’s pre-wedding shoot was filled with smiles and laughs. 03.01.2022 You know when they say, every cloud has a silver lining, i.e with every bit of difficulty or bad situation, theres always some good aspect to it? Rain on a wedding day is always a reminder of that saying. Ahilan & Sophie were supposed to get married last Saturday, but that wedding had to be re-jigged because of the social gathering restrictions. ... On the day, the weather wasnt on our side there were blankets of fog everywhere and rain that poured down in bursts - it just wasnt the best of times to have an outdoor ceremony. Thankfully when Sophie walked in, the rain subsided, the fog cleared up and things just got so much better. Coincidence? I think not. The rain even held up throughout the ceremony, right up to the end of the location shoot. When it did pour down, I managed to grab this pic (with the help of Sophies brother! Thank you so much, you legend). Despite the chaos, everything was made beautiful in its time. Thank you for having me, it seems like only yesterday I documented your proposal (scroll down the feed, and youll find shots from it). I cant wait to photograph your kids soon :P

02.01.2022 Light of my life

02.01.2022 Sometimes I ask my couples if they are ticklish. One person always denies it and thats never the right answer.

01.01.2022 Quick pic from yesterday’s fun filled night

01.01.2022 This is the first dance between Marcus and Maddison. To get a photo like this there’s a few moving parts - firstly there’s the movement of couple as they sway to their wedding song. The second is the back light coming from the video light. You have to make sure you freeze time at the exact split second, they are in the position where the light hits Maddison and makes her radiate. This can be tricky because if she moves a few inches this shot won’t work. ... The third is the expression - you have to be a little be lucky to hope that couples have authentic expressions when they dance there’s so many micro expressions. You need to know when they are about to happen. Practice helps guide this. And if you know your stuff - you can incorporate elements into the shot at the same time when couples move, and take an ordinary image to a different level. See the out of focus circular lights on the right that make this shot magical? I did that by using tea light candles while the first dance was happening. I was crouched right next to the bridal table, and grabbed the tea light candles on the bridal table and put them near my lens, and waited for all three things to align themselves and clicked to get this picture. It’s crazy to think that there’s so many things happening at the same time and really there’s so much room for failure. A first dance only happens once - this was close to 10 hours into a wedding days - I was super exhausted and tired - nonetheless I got it. Booo yaaaaaa.
