21.01.2022 Peter Findlay 22 mins Peter Graham had an incredibly tragic life after his vehicle went off an unmarked, unsafe bridge which left him totally paralysed, except for minor head movement. His wife had died years before and their only child died from a heart condition. I heard that the doctors had suggested that he moved down to Adelaide, where our weather would allow him to get out of an iron lung he was confined to be in when he lived in Queensland. One of my students told ...me this incredibly heart rendering story which moved me to tears. She showed me a paint by numbers work he had struggled with. The next day I decided to pay Peter a visit and offered my services to teach him how to paint, as this was the only pleasure he had in life, besides smoking cigarettes and barracking for the Tigers! Over the next few few years, we held several art exhibitions for Peter, which enabled him to buy a motorised wheelchair, colour TV, cartons of fags etc...As there was no payout for his accident, he didn’t have any money and the xtra he got from his painting sales was very rewarding. He sold 100% of all of his works which is such an impressive record. I got him a little cap, painted it black and yellow and got the tigers to sign it for him. Even the special painting easel was painted in his favourite club colours. Peter lived out the remaining 5years and we both looked forward to each other’s company every week. I was extremely and deeply saddened by his passing. So when my students tell me they can’t something, remember dear old Peter Graham and what he achieved!

19.01.2022 A caricature I recently came across that I did of Ringo Starr during the Beatles visit in 1964.

12.01.2022 This is an amazing painting of the Flinders Ranges by talented Panorama Art Group student, Gwen Burrowes. Her attention to detail is astounding! This particular painting has been used to promote the Flinders.

07.01.2022 This truly beautiful painting was done several years ago by talented student Louise Feetham. Sadly Louise passed away this year She was an inspiration to us all, who knew her and her amazing sense of humour. She is truly missed, but her legacy lives on through her work. This painting is a favourite of so many of her friends and adorns her husband John's bedroom wall.

01.01.2022 Finally completed my daughter and her two little ones at Christmas, checking out their presents. I suggested Alana wear the little blue skirt as a top, so I could put my favourite colour in as the sun came out.
