19.01.2022 Please Share and ask your friends to Share. Save Cape Bridgewater website officially launched Mary Hartney Jordan Oakley thank you for photos along with mine. Great job everyone involved. Stop this inappropriate development on our Cape.

19.01.2022 Great interview by Kammy Cordner with Steve Martin on ABC Local Radio about the proposed meeting on Tuesday re Cape Bridgewater Hotel . This meeting should be delayed so appropriate time can be given to people. Not 5 mins and standing in the doorway when something of this magnitude needs open discussion by all concerned. https://www.abc.net.au//progr/breakfast/breakfast/12473348... and you will find it at 2 hours 37 minutes into the program.

18.01.2022 Wild and wooly out quick 5 kms to the top of the cape. Windy, raining and caught in hail storm but was just what I needed.

18.01.2022 Few showers, lots of rainbows out on my hike .

18.01.2022 Started hiking 10 to 10 out Cape Bridgewater to do the Cape to Blowholes 8km and back (16kms) on the Great South West Walk. Got back 10 to 3 . Total fog covere...d most of the cape until about 11.30 12 noon when I had lunch. Spotted a whale I think a humpback as only one blow not a V shape of the Southern Right whale . Was lovely so quiet no ppl no turbines making a noise. So peaceful it was eerie Sun was out all the way for the 8 km return climbing up the cape. Mob of Roos , no seals today. Cape Bridgewater was stunning as calm, no wind , full sun and fluffy white clouds See more

15.01.2022 Beautiful day today so I decided to walk thec3 Bays Marathon course with Graeme Oleary who does it every Thursday. We stopped at the Bridgy Cemetery for lunch ...and attended to blisters. Got warm climbing the shuffler and I soon ran out of my 500 ml water. Graeme cruised it in as usual no dramas . My feet dont like bitumen anyway stopped at the airport fixed fit a bit more. Got to Dougherty Road and Lana Eichler saves the day and filled my water bottle up. Helped get me home thank you . Saw 3 koalas. Bit of road works at the Lakes. Perfect weather although I prefer cloud cover . Graeme kept encouraging me and eventually made it home . Check our pics we walked a lot to get them . Fun day out ! See more

15.01.2022 Well this mornings hike was undecided until Graeme Oleary got in the car . We took sunrise photos then decided to walk Blowholes to Bridgewater Lakes on the Gr...eat South West Walk 250km hiking track in Portland. Weather was exceptionally good. Lunch at Bridgewater lakes . 19 kms today. Great day out .startedwalking 8.30am got back to Blowholes 2.15pm .stopped and chatted to Tourists at the Lakes about the sights See more

14.01.2022 Graeme Oleary and I did seperate walks due to his time constraints so I had a lovely walk up a few huge hills through beautiful forest , not one koala seen whi...ch is upsetting as their numbers are decreasing . I walked up and down and went through to Tarragal Camp for my stop. Then back I went and off to Whites Beach where I spent hr fossicking . Please dont take your dogs to Whites as there are two Hooded Plovers and will be nesting soon. Lots of dog mess evident by irresponsible owners. I then spoke to Parks Ranger and all GSWW is open only two persons and keeping distance . So there you have the breaking news! Enjoy my pics I had an awesome day . Now tenby wants a walk See more
