If you are keen to learn about the history of our beautiful town, Robert Marshall will be launching his book next Tuesday the 8th of December @ 6pm in our function room Robert has lived in Panton Hill for 74 years, a member of the Panton Hill Fire Brigade for 52 years, has been gathering information on Panton Hill for 60 years and started to put it all toge...ther in book form 10 years ago. Next Tuesday he will launch Volume 1 of 5 and will be there to answer any questions you might have about the history of our great town and community. Why does Robert want to hold his function at the Hotel? Well, we were Panton Hill’s first building built in 1861 opening as The Frenchman’s Kingstown Inn soon changing to Hotel de France and eventually becoming what we know and love it now as Panton Hill Hotel. In light of the PMs announcement yesterday, we've got a few important announcements to make. ... Our Bistro will now only seat 100 people at any given time, with all tables spaced out according to the social distancing requirements. Our function room and top deck will be operating as normal, with our open-air deck always in action so you can enjoy this beautiful weather. This means that we are still open for business. If you're coming in now, we strongly encourage you to call ahead or book with us online to avoid disappointment at popular times. We are also excited to announce that our kitchen will be offering a NEW takeaway pick-up service, with all our pub classics and favourites available to those that need to stay indoors. And yes - were licenced for takeaway beverages as well! :) The Footy is back! Live on the big screens tonight. Join us for a meal and a few beers in a relaxing environment, and forget all the chaos for a few hours.
