12.01.2022 Last week was Old Scholars Week when Princes Old Scholars take on rivals Saints Old Scholars in Intercollegiate Games. In Badminton, we were proud to bring home the Old Scholars Intercol Cup after 4 years of dusting the absence of it in our trophy cabinet. We beat Saints Old Scholars 7-2 and won the tie with passion and determination. The Princes Spirit was alive in each player representing the Reds. One of the best performances that saw many 3 setters and It really could ha...ve gone either way. Well done to our Saints opponents as well who put up a valiant challenge. Special mention to David Olsson who returned to coach us and to Chris Chong who in spite of his injury that left him out of the team, came to support and was cheering us on on the sidelines. Welcome back Paul Wong together with Hugo Chapman and Jason Huynh. It was great to see past captains and vice captains involved in the team. Well done to the legendary Meng Ling and Eden Lau who won the tie for us with fantastic singles matches. Very proud of this fantastic team spirit.
