Sadly passing away on this day in 2015, Alex showed us the ways of business via his own successful catering company. As the grand-children grew up Alex was given the name Papa and it stuck. So today our business proudly bears the name Papa Al's Bakehouse in loving memory of him.

07.01.2022 IMPORTANT HOME DELIVERY UPDATE 2020 has been a year like no other. When we started the year we were only a wholesale bakery delivering to café’s, restaurants and stadiums. When Covid-19 hit everyone’s world was flipped upside down. The majority of our wholesale customers closed, and, we were in a pickle to work out how to keep our business open. Within a space of 48 hours we had opened the shop-front and started to go online offering home deliveries. Our home deliveries s...tarted the first weekend of April, and every weekend since, our home delivery team have been working hard to deliver bakery items all over Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Maitland, Cessnock and Lake Macquarie. With this our home delivery team will be taking a break over December and some of January. Please see below the last regular deliveries for 2020.
