23.01.2022 Pippie the cat passed away at the age of 7 earlier this year. Rescued as a kitten, Pippie has had a great life with her human family and now they have this keepsake in her memory. Pippie was painted in acrylics at A3 and hand delivered unframed. I am now taking commissions from December. If you would like a pet painted as a gift please get in touch as soon as you can so you can be guaranteed it for Christmas. @paper_tails

22.01.2022 Culey the Border Terrier is a gorgeous one year old scrappy scruffy puppy and was a delightful dog to paint. She was a commissioned gift for her Dad’s birthday and he loved it. Culey was painted using acrylics at A3 size on 360gsm board and delivered unframed. @paper_tails

20.01.2022 This is Merry, she was a stunning 28 year old grey mare. A much loved showjumping horse who is missed terribly. This is what her owner Charlie has written It feels difficult to put into words how much our years together meant to me and how they have shaped the person that I have become. Merry was the horse of a lifetime. Every little girls dream. A lovely tribute to an absolutely beautiful horse. Merry has been painted in acrylics on A3 360gsm acid free board. @paper_tails

20.01.2022 While I work on a few projects it is awesome to now be able to share some of the Christmas gift commissions I worked on this year. Sylvie worked hard to get a good photo of her Dad’s beautiful cat which worked so well. Cats are lovely to paint, so graceful in appearance. 14.01.2022 Early in June I painted the lovely Border Collie Molly. She is full of adventure and mischief. She was a puppy when I painted her but as all pet owners know they aren’t puppies for long! I am showcasing all of the essentials required for a peaceful painting session, a glass of red, paints and kids monitors. Molly was painted using acrylics at A3 size on 360gsm board and posted to Melbourne unframed. @paper_tails

14.01.2022 A lovely testimonial from Amber: Brownie is a Kelpie cross with New Zealand sheepdog. He was rescued from a farm as a pup where he was about to be put down. He is 13 years old now and has seen my dad through particularly tough medical complications. Brownie was allowed to visit Dad during his long hospital stints, instantly improving his demeanour. Brownie usually sits at his feet in the sunroom, with his little tongue out which is how my kids wanted him painted, a gift for their Pop’s birthday. We are really honoured Amanda painted such a fantastic portrait of my Dad’s best friend. I made Brownie a little ‘browner’ to make him look a bit younger using acrylics on A3 and delivered unframed. @paper_tails

14.01.2022 Meet David, David had a significant birthday last week and his lovely wife Viv commissioned me to paint their gorgeous dog Harry. Harry went missing a few years ago and they miss him terribly so this painting has brought back some lovely memories. Harry was painted in acrylic on A4 and delivered unframed. I have included a buddy photo with Sam the retriever to show the size difference between A4 and A3. @paper_tails

13.01.2022 A very nice message from Abby who owns one of these gorgeous dogs and her brand new husband who owns the other, nothing like a blended fur family! This portrait was given to them as a wedding gift. We love it!!! Thank you so much! The lady who did it is VERY talented. She has really captured the detail of them. 12.01.2022 Its not often I get to see the subjects I paint in the flesh but when I visited Alli Keating at Foxdale Equestrian in Terrey Hills I was blessed to experience these magnificent horses. Both black with some slight colouring, immaculately kept and I experienced an incredible feeling just being in the stables with them. These are 2 of 4 horses I am painting for Alli so I’m so pleased to be able to share. Both horses have been painted in acrylic on A3 360gsm acid free board. @paper_tails

10.01.2022 Labradors.. mischievous, naughty, playful, loving, smart and loyal. Our gorgeous pup is 2yrs old and still full of cheek and mischief. She completes our family and brings so much love and joy. Mands has captured her perfectly, I can’t wait to add her to our family photo wall. 10.01.2022 Toon was rescued from a backyard in Glebe where he was being mistreated because of his size and also because he was deaf. Found himself a gorgeous family to love him dearly and appreciate his outstanding character. Painted in Acrylic on A3 and delivered unframed with his mate Scoot. 08.01.2022 Check out this dude! Acrylic on A3 art board unframed. A note from his lovely owner Scooty was my first Staffy, a beautiful big hearted boy. He had blood cancer at the age of 3 lost all his nails and wore socks for a good 2 years and never complained but I think he loved all the attention from the girls at the vets who would fight over which socks to put on him! All the meds over 5 years finally took his life in January this year @paper_tails

07.01.2022 I have been quiet on the socials front because of all of the Christmas commissions in progress, I’ll share them as soon as Santa has returned to the North Pole! Speaking of Christmas and something a little different. I recently painted these in watercolour for Christmas and they arrived today! Cards are printed originals and $5 each + postage. 07.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! I hope all of you near and far have managed to enjoy your Christmas Day. I was lucky enough to get my sister in law @amandaberrell in our family secret Santa this year so I painted her recently departed bunny Millie. I am really looking forward to showing you all the paintings I have done as Christmas gifts. If you have received one I would love to see a photo! 06.01.2022 When one of our beautiful pets leave us we hope with all our hearts they knew that their unconditional love was mutual, how they had a special place in each family members heart and how we miss them every day. We all remember the special dog in our lives and Indi the Golden Retriever was this dog for Vikki. He lived 13 wonderful years and saw her through marriage to Scott and helped raise two gorgeous girls who also loved him unconditionally. Indi passed in December 2019. This is a photo of me with Indi framed to give you an idea of size and some process photos. I have painted his memory in acrylics on A3 and framed. @paper_tails

05.01.2022 Jinx is a beautiful gold British Cocker Spaniel. What a delightful face and so soft. A unique commission for a (former) daughter in law and great friend.
