23.01.2022 The most beautiful review from our last guests from Hawaii. They are exactly the reason we love doing what we do. Sorry it's quite long ;-) Lachlan and his family were the best hosts! Experiences like we had with this property is why Airbnb is so successful. This home was like staying in a resort but wrapped up in a home. The beds were plush and comfortable, the bathrooms were like spas, and the setting was luxurious but in a simple way. We absolutely loved all the special t...ouches that were thought of by the owners. There were boards games, beach towels, bubble & soaking salts, plastic and paper goods for picnics with baskets. There were beautiful champagne glasses to use, and nespresso coffee machine with great selection for your caffeine fix. There was a user friendly dishwasher and even a steam/microwave oven to use at your discretion. The netflix made the nights fun for our large family, and the pool even in the winter was so wonderful with the colored light. We especially enjoyed the water flowing features to fall asleep to. The AC was perfect to help control the daytime temperature. Lachlan provided excellent communication of restaurants and input on what would be good to do for our 5 nights there. He even brought some of his personal poles for our use for my father's fishing experiences. They made our stay even more special with their thoughtfulness. It was our best experience with Air bnb to date, and we sincerely hope to stay there again in the future ... even if we live all the way in Hawaii. Even if there were any small question, Lachlan was so quick to respond to anything we needed. Last but not least, there were wonderful reading material and amazing photography with significance that we enjoyed so much. We also rented a van for our easy travels and day trips to Daintree, Palm Cove, Cairns, and Port Douglas. Everything was so easy to navigate and drive to. A definite Favorite!!! See more

"What an amazing property with equally amazing hosts in Lachy, Anna and Sophia. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. This was by far the best Airbnb property we have stayed at to date. From the open plan living to the hotel style bedrooms, to the incredible outdoor pool area, this home had everything you need. 15.01.2022 Pillow talk here we come. Its allways interesting in the holiday rental market. Our previous guests thought it to be normal to leave the sheets like this. When questioned about it the response was maybe you shouldn't use white sheets in a holiday rental...I should let all the hotels and accommodation places know this great piece of advise Final verdict....sleeping with fake tan on. Doh

05.01.2022 Amazing nature. Cyclones in the water

04.01.2022 So Anna, Sophia and I went around to Paperbark House last Saturday to clean the pool and garden and ended off being invited to stay for lunch with our beautiful guests from Hong Kong. Sophia loved it playing in the pool with the kids and it was such a pleasure to sit down and talk to our guests. Anna and Sophia also had dinner at the house with our previous German guests. I was sick unfortunately but it's so amazing we get to do this and share the house with such amazing people who are so open to have us sit down and talk about all sorts of interesting things. We love what we do :-) Thank you Fiona for a lovely lunch and Steffen for having us for dinner You guys are amazing.
