09.01.2022 today was a bit of an end of an era . . . one of my dearest friends and loyal tuesday girl lisa finished up her regular tuesday day here at pbp HQ & after 13 years no less ! ! she wont be going far, but a promotion at her main part time job (yay for her) means shell only be here from time to time, our tea and cake girl at special events, and the odd studio day if needed... but her regular every week time here is over... we are both a sentimental fools, and have been reminis...cing a lot over the last few weeks... weve been through a lot together over the last bakers dozen of years... lisas worked in three different paper boat homes, shes offered words of wisdom and disco balls of fun, shes bravely fought breast cancer, she was my rock when i didnt think my broken heart would ever heal enough to go on, and shes been one of my biggest cheer squad members through all the ups and downs of running a small creative business... its only good bye for tuesdays but after all these years of sharing lunch and conversation while making we think over 1/4 million ornaments together we figure its ok to feel a little sad x See more

05.01.2022 . sunset studies . after a huge day of making and all the rest, i finally opened (it was delivered a few weeks back?!) an amazing order of work by my dear dear friend @otnmmk as well as some very special pieces made by her beautiful mum that ive had the honour of selling in my gallery... thank you momoko, as i unpacked the box amongst the afternoon shadows and setting sun i thought of you, and how blessed i feel to have you as a friend, and that pottery has bought us together... cant wait to see you (all @otntty) in january xxx
