10.01.2022 Today's PAPERCLIP TO DO LIST TIP: We often can feel really overwhelmed by the number of items we have on our to-do list - everything feels like a chore! Take a step back and ask yourself "What is the outcome of doing this item on my list?" Why do I want to get this done? When you link your action items to the result or outcome you will find it a lot easier to do. eg: I had a conversation with one of my clients the other day who was feeling totally overwhelmed by all the paper...work she had to do for an NDIS application. She didn't know where to start and also felt resentful that she had to do a lot of the work the NDIS used to do. I asked her this simple question: "What is the outcome or result you want from doing these tasks?" Her answer: To get the funding we need to look after my husband and get the help we need so I can have some time for myself.
