18.01.2022 Surahn and I have spent many, many nights musing notions of consciousness, spiritual ecology & humanity’s urgent need for a cultural metamorphosis. Our world is so much more than just human, and yet our colonial mindset thinks it is all for us, and ours for the taking. Looking to our indigenous people + cultures, inspires us daily in all that we do. Put simply, we need to give back. Give back land to our indigenous peoples; give back the wild to cleared paddocks; give back c...arbon to the soil; give back homes to our animal & insect & microbial kin. If we change our perception & shift our existing domination paradigm, our actions will follow. In the smallest and simplest of reciprocal gestures, we have left dozens of artichokes to flower, a gift to the bees & butterflies. A little vista of Mother Earth’s magic. #collectiveconsciousness #motherearth #spiritualecology #indigenousculture See more

11.01.2022 Utopian State - Picnic Party Update! Today we are really happy to announce that the event has sold out across all 3 days. Thanks for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm, we're eternally grateful. In light of recent restrictions, we are continuing to stay informed, remain calm and will thoughtfully approach the next steps.... At this point we are quietly optimistic that we will be able to safely present the event as planned in December with support from our artists and suppliers. The health and safety of everyone involved including our community is our highest priority, so we will only go ahead if it is safe to do so. We will closely monitor all of SA Health and SA Government developments and guidelines and will keep you all updated as this unfolds. Thanks once again for you patience and support and if your plans do change please feel free to get in touch. Stay safe, be kind, look after one another and hopefully we'll see you in late December

10.01.2022 Our wonderful friends have arrived for their seasonal voyage to our farm. This is a male and female pair, the male identifiable by a black beak and pinkish ring around his eye, while the female has a bone colored beak and larger cheek patch. They are not so wary of us anymore and sometimes we can get just beyond an arms reach of them. #yellowtailedblackcockatoo #animism #nativebirds

09.01.2022 Tickets for the first day & 3 day tickets have almost sold out! Thank you so much for the overwhelming support from all of you lovely folks Tickets for 28th & 29th are still available. It’s going to be a pretty special time - more spiel below

01.01.2022 Coinciding with Naidoc week & as part of our deep and ongoing aspirations to turn our ‘farm’ into a sustainable & biodiverse ecosystem, we have begun planting hundreds of native trees interweaving between our almonds. A returning to the wild. A carbon draw down. We recognize that we have to look backward, to the past, in order to move forward. Our First Nations people (& longest surviving cultures in the world), have an intimate and reciprocal relationship with the land that ...we, as settlers, are disconnected from - the consequence of our history of resource exploitation, materialism, greed and domination. We have an enormous responsibility, backed with science, that our systems must change. Our perceptions of reality must change. We are in the midst of an emergence of a new paradigm - a shift from human supremacy toward connectedness between all living systems. Our deepest gratitude to @amberrosecronin @treesforlifesa for supporting us. And to @kaurnacronin @udarob @lolacampari @tomborgas and the other amazing humans who came to help. And so we will continue to listen to the land. Happy Sunday friends #alwayswasalwayswillbe #kaurnacountry See more
