17.01.2022 On a beautiful day like today, here's some positive feedback from my lovely clients. It makes my day even more sunny! Josh & Jakki, 21 March 2013 Sam did an amazing job in capturing every detail of our wedding day in Thailand.... Her preparation was impeccable and she exceeded our expectations in every way. In addition to capturing great shots, Sam went the extra mile on the final output too. Having great wedding photos was so important to us and Sam delivered. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her work to anyone! Thanks for coming all the way to Thailand with us Sam, we're so glad we chose you as our photographer Jakki & Josh

12.01.2022 One of Paper Tree's wedding photos was in the SMH yesterday accompanying an article on weather McKell Park in Darling Point should permit wedding ceremonies. A few high flying residents are taking legal action against Woollahra Council, because they feel their peace is being disturbed. The problem is, if they win the lawsuit and McKell park looses their rights to hold weddings it could effect every park in NSW's rights too. This would greatly reduce the number of locations th...at secular couples have to conduct their ceremonies. Personally the weddings that I've photographed at McKell Park have been, very intimate and peaceful. The ceremony is the only part of the wedding that is held at the park. The festivities are then carried out at another location. The general public are free to use the park and do so around the wedding. Everyone seems to be having a good time in the park, the wedding party and guests and the general public. I don't see the disturbance. It's hardly a rave!
12.01.2022 30 weeks and counting. Can I get any bigger...

07.01.2022 Hey there people... It's been a busy and exciting year for me as a new mum. Actually it's been awesome! However, the downside is that although I've actively been photographing weddings and portraits, unfortunately I have neglected my blog and Facebook pages. I plan to come back with a vengeance next year.... Merry Xmas ya'll! ... "Here's to 2015"! XXX See more
06.01.2022 I love my clients. I know that sounds gushy and even slightly wrong, but I do. Photography opens the doors to lots of different people and this is one of the big reasons that I dig my job. I walk away from each job a little sad that the journey is over. I give my all to each job, no matter how big or small, thats just who I am. So when my clients recognise this and love what I have created for them, it feels pretty damn good. They don't come much better than this...... "We engaged Samantha to be our photographer for our wedding on March 16th 2013. From the moment we saw Sams beautiful photos on her website we knew she was the right photographer for us, and meeting her in person made us even more certain of that. We felt so pleased and lucky that she was available for our wedding day. From the very beginning of the process, Sam was a delight to work with. She made the effort to travel to us for the initial consultation, and was very approachable and accommodating through all our dealings with her. Sam captured our day even more perfectly than we could have hoped. She really listened to our brief and gave us exactly what we had asked for. In fact, she exceeded all our hopes and expectations! We had such a lovely day, and the fantastic photographs that Sam took paint a perfect picture of it, meaning we can re-live the day over and over again. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sam as a photographer anyone would be lucky to have her! Not only did she do an incredible job with the photos, but her attention to detail, friendly nature and personal touches make her the perfect person to capture your special day. All the best, and thanks again for a fantastic job. Liv and Matt Wilson"
06.01.2022 Thank you to the lovelies at Polka Dot Bride for featuring Heather & Luke's wedding! X
05.01.2022 Vivian & Lloyd's Engagement shoot was On Polka Dot Bride over the weekend. If you missed it, check it out.
04.01.2022 Chad and I traveled to Cambodia in March. Actually what took us there was that I was photographing a wedding in Thailand, which I will definitely be blogging soon. So we took the opportunity to continue on to Cambodia for some adventure. One of the coolest things we did on our travels, was visit The Happy School in Phnom Penh, which is supported by ACE - Australians for Cambodian Education. The kids were such a cool bunch and the school is aptly named "Happy". Our only regret is we didn't have more time to spend with them. Here is one photo as a teaser. Allot more to follow...
04.01.2022 I've been a wee bit sick and so a wee bit slack with my FB and blog posts of late. This photo is from a wedding I will soon be posting. The gorgeous Bernadette.
04.01.2022 Ok, I'm there... Award-winning copywriter and SEO consultant Kate Toon is holding a one day SEO training course for small business. If you're like me and could do with help getting your head around SEO you should come along.
02.01.2022 So its been a while since I've paid enough attention to you. I'm sorry!!! I have been distracted with pregnancy and the sickness that some of us lucky people have to endure as part of the package. But I also traveled to Thailand to photograph a wedding. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. A few days after I reached sixteen weeks my sickness subsided and this was exactly the time I arrived in Thailand. I'm so looking forward to blogging this wedding, however, there are a few gorgeous weddings in line first. So the coming months are going to be a real treat. Here is one of my favourite photos from the Thailand wedding. If it were me, I'd hang it on the wall. Just saying...
