25.01.2022 More Spinifex Brewing Co up on the website! 8246320 Sig Geffrey Phillip Gregg (Afghanistan) who sadly took his life on September 23rd 2006 as a result of his struggle with PTSD is the inspiration for the Spinifex F88 Lager campaign. The F88 Campaign is to raise and direct funds to support the healing and mental wellbeing of returned service personnel. 50% of profits raised from F88 Lager will be donated to veterans charities.

21.01.2022 A big congratulations to the guys at Spinifex Brewing Co for launching their #craftbeer infused with sustainable native ingredients on Saturday. And for launching #f88lager Australias first military beer with 50% of profits going to veterans charities. Thanks for having me work on this great project! Its always a little magical for a graphic designer to see their designs come to life and out in the real world.

20.01.2022 The rough storyboard for my childrens book is coming along. I find that most of the ideas for this book come to me as Im trying to go to sleep, so I have a notepad on my bedside table to write down all these ideas. Im sure I would have forgotten some by morning otherwise!

12.01.2022 Dont underestimate an inside cover! Im guilty of judging books by their cover and maybe even more so their inside cover. I love how it gives a little peek of the story and style of illustration without using any words. My book in the making is having some colourful spots for the inside cover.

12.01.2022 A little sneak preview of some of my latest graphic design work for Spinifex Brewing Co. Their Wattle Amber Ale is one of three beers to be released next month. Fun fact: its made in Western Australia with sustainable native ingredients supporting Aboriginal owned native food producers.

10.01.2022 Introducing Baby Whale! (We call him William) Becoming a mum meant finding a new balance between Paper Whale and looking after a tiny human being. As a WAHM (Working At Home Mum) Im able to do something that I love and earn an income while giving me the flexibility to be available for my child. (Clearly, work slows down with a toddler around, so William is in care on the days I work, or Ill get a little bit done when hes asleep.) Juggle, juggle, juggle!

10.01.2022 Tonight Ive put my favourite #rollie shoes on to go out for dinner in the city with my husband for some quality time. Jared is doing a Masters degree at the moment and with me working on Paper Whale we find ourselves in seperate home offices many evenings after William has gone to bed. As a #wahm (working at home mum) life gets so busy trying to balance it all, that romance can be at the bottom of the priority list. Not tonight though! And a big thank you to the grandparents for babysitting!

03.01.2022 New work up on the website! The past few months I have been working hard on designing the packaging for Perths up and coming brewery Spinifex Brewing Co. They are currently rolling out their delicious range of beers that have been infused with Australian native ingredients. I look forward to continuing to work on this project as they add new flavours to their range. Stay tuned everyone!
