21.01.2022 Lets go for a quick sensory walk! Our Toddler room did a sensory activity exploring different materials with the feet! We have baskets with cold water, warm water, soft wood pebbles, crumbled paper and some soft sands. Sensing different texture, temperature and sensation apart from our hands can be a new experience that helps children make connection of their surroundings.... Interestingly we found as well some things we touch with our hands might not get the same liking if we do sense it with our feet The Toddies surely love this activity and want another turn and another one walking through it

Draw a picture of them and talk about them 2. Who are they picture collage: Compile a variety of pictures of people that are close to your child and other unrecognised faces, and ask the child who they can identify? Who can we seek help and support to when needed? Our staff also took the extra measure to learn about the 10 National Principle of Child Safe Organisation in addition. Our centre has an ongoing commitment in building child safe culture and environment.

01.01.2022 During this unprecedented time, our classroom took a moment to pause for a bit and reflect with the children about gratitude. What makes you happy and smiling everyday? What is something you look forward to each day? What are we thankful for to have daily? Our Kinders came up with a bunch of answers from: my Mommy and Daddy, playing with my friends, eating breakfast together, running around, playing!... And many more Gratitude is a positive emotion of taking the time to be aware and thankful of the small little things that makes our day happy and positive. We want our children here to elicit this learning disposition and say thank you to the people who makes them happy.
