24.01.2022 COVID UPDATE: Unfortunately all tennis will be shut down for at least the next 6 days as per the announcements from the SA Government today. We will follow the news closely and keep you all updated as to when and how we can get back on the court. Stay safe

21.01.2022 Important information - COURT USAGE ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, PLAYERS, MEMBERS AND PARENTS, PLEASE READ BELOW: Due to the COVID-19 escalating situation we hav...e been forced to promptly make drastic changes or we would need to close up shop indefinitely. Please see info below: -Court locks have been changed as we can no longer have people coming and going who we are not keeping track of -All members or casual users who want court time will need to make a prior booking -No member or person can just walk on and hit any longer -All court usage will be logged for everyones safety -All court users will have to follow the rules we have put on each entry/exit at the tennis club -All bookings are to be made through John Warnock via txt on 0422 761 979 -All bookings will require anyone coming to hit to fill out a questionnaire via txt msg before entering our facility (this is an absolute must) -Bookings will be accepted at the committees discretion -No bookings under lights will be taken as light upgrade work will commence this week, further info will be posted on this topic -All bookings will need to be made 24 hours in advance as a minimum -On court time will be limited to ensure all members have an opportunity to play. Eg. you cannot book a three hour slot if the demand is high, 1 hour time slots may be enforced if needed -The club house is now out of bounds except for the toilets and hand washing facility, no kitchen facilities will be available and food and drink cannot be consumed inside -Failure to follow these procedures will mean members will be banned from playing and or their membership revoked -We will take bookings from Thursday the 26th at 9am but not before (the club is closed for cleaning and to implement these procedures) -We will return to normal club procedures asap but this is the only way forward at present. -If members do not comply as a whole we will be forced to close our gates until this is all over, PLEASE, PLEASE cooperate for everyones benefit. Tennis is the only thing left for many of us at the moment and both SAIOT and the PHTC are doing everything possible to keep the wheels turning. 20.01.2022 IMPORTANT As of midnight tonight the Para Hills Tennis Club will be shut down until further notice. This means no: - coaching - competition ... - social/member court use We are awaiting further information on Tuesday morning as to what if any activities can continue. We have been given limited information at this stage but we have been told that all sport must stop. Once we have more information we will do another post.

15.01.2022 It is time to start getting teams organised for Senior Summer Tennis! This season we can enter teams in Metro League- Adelaide wide competition for higher level players- and the combined Eastern/ North East Associations competition. Comps are singles/doubles, doubles only for men’s and women’s teams and a 2 Men/2 Women mixed team playing singles and doubles. Organise your own team or we can slot you into one. Player nominations are due in to Cynthia 0407397708 or [email protected] by 23/8 for Metro and 4/9 for Eastern/NETA.

12.01.2022 Congrats to our Div 1 Ladies Eastern/NETA Summer Premiers for 2019/20 who finally received their trophies tonight after COVID cut the finals short. Undefeated for the season. Well done Dianne, Cynthia, Kristina, Gemma and Anita.

11.01.2022 Div 6 Gold Men- you are playing home against Norwood today. They have advised that they only have 3 players today but won’t be forfeiting and will still play the match.

11.01.2022 Courts 5&6 "OPEN" to Members To all PHTC members, From Friday April the 10th, courts 5 and 6 will be available for casual use under strict guidelines issued by the Para Hills Tennis Club, Tennis Australia and SA, SA Health and the Federal Government. (no bookings required, please share)... The locks will be back to the normal "member only key" so all members can enjoy use of the courts. All court rules, guidelines and expectations are clearly posted on each gate. Please enjoy, please share and please stay safe!!

01.01.2022 Now that rules have relaxed a little and we can play on all of our courts, PLEASE do the right thing and pay your membership fees. Membership is only for six months- ended March- and we have allowed a few weeks grace so now is the time to pay up! Membership fees to Oct 1st are $55 for seniors and $45 for juniors. The club has decided to allow use of the lights within this fee- but you have to pay it first! ALL PLAYERS must pay the appropriate fee- that includes parents of ...juniors and siblings and friends. One membership does not cover 3 others to hit with! When competition starts we will invoice you for the balance owing. The club pays for electricity used by lights and partial cost of resurfacing NOT the council as could be assumed. We can’t be there all the time to check on players so pay your fees and enjoy your tennis. I can send bank details to anyone who requires them. See more
