08.01.2022 Muhammad Abbas (may he rest in peace, past away last month.). From parachinar Pakistan. He arrived to Australia on a boat in 2013 in search for a safe place to call home. He's only around 23 but was taken too soon. He had many dreams as a teenager when he arrived here and wanted to accomplish them, he wanted to have a good life just like anyone else but sadly he was declined protection and due to stress and anxiety and not being able to see his family for over 7 years, he suf...fered a heart attack and died. He was sent back to his Mum to Pakistan and they buried him today. His Mum in a shock because she sent her son as a healthy young boy because she feared he would die if he stayed not knowing he will return in a coffin at such a young age. Our hearts are broken and have nothing to say other than why do we need to be tortured like this? We are humans too, we haven't committed a crime by seeking asylum. We just want to live in peace and have a safe place to call home, how many more deaths will it take? Is it not enough what we have been through already during all these years? How many more of us have to die for nothing!!! See more
