23.01.2022 Absolutely fabulous weather on the Gold Coast this past 10 days or so...no rain (it never rains on the Gold Coast...), no wind, sunny and 23-24 degrees every day. My golf groups from the South are getting sunburned - lather up with sunscreen boys and girls !!

23.01.2022 With road closures, turn-backs, torrential rain and a bit of aquaplaning in a bus and trailer....getting to Tenterfield was never in doubt....even though a 3.5-hour journey turned into an 8-hour epic. Great group of ladies and thank God they are much better golfers than they are singers !!

23.01.2022 This is how some of my clients perform their stretching exercises before a game at Noosa Springs (last week). Don't overdo it now....especially after that massive effort you put in at last night's BBQ event...ha, ha.

20.01.2022 Just got back from playing the newly-re-opened Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course......and wow !! What a gem of a course. Some fabulous holes, very picturesque out in the bush, about 90 minutes drive from the Gold Coast. Well worth the trip.

20.01.2022 Just had a great group of guys up on the Gold Coast - the Paul Sperring group from Wollongong. They had an absolute ball and Mark Duncan went one further after Googling the proper golf attire from the PGA in 1929, he turned up at Lakelands in this outfit and played the entire round in a suit and tie. He looked amazing, as did his mate in the very colourful pants. What a fun group !!

19.01.2022 What a magnificent day today at Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course. Course is looking fabulous, very picturesque and very challenging. Had the Parker group out there today and they "loved it" they said.... Photos below are of the beautiful 17th par 3 over the water, and the other photo is across a huge "snake gully" to get onto the 9th green.

18.01.2022 You know it never rains on the Gold Coast, right? Well here are two brave golfers at Glades Golf Club ..... 2 hours later all the water was gone, sun was out and they played on. How good is that?

13.01.2022 STORM UPDATE ON THE GOLD COAST... Just a quick update to all our clients and friends regarding the aftermath of the recent storms to hit the Gold Coast region. Things were nowhere near as bad as they were portrayed by the media. We had no winds to speak of, no fallen trees really but we got quite a bit of rain over a 4-hour period. The worst affected courses were Colonial and Glades, with courses such as Hope Island, Sanctuary Cove and Arundel Hills open for business the very... next morning. 24 hours later, Robina Woods was in action again, with Lakelands and Royal Pines a further 24 hours later again. Today, Tuesday 4th April (4 days later), all courses are back with just Colonial and Glades still finalising their cleanup. I had a very brave group of lads from Victoria up here during the entire storm period and they did not miss a day's golf as we were able to juggle the courses around to ensure their games were not affected. All systems "go" once more. We look forward to hosting your golfing holiday on the (sunny) Gold Coast, very soon. See more
