23.01.2022 Today at Paradox

21.01.2022 Early March and everything is pretty lush.

20.01.2022 It's a perfect day in the valley and here are a few shots from this morning and one of Belle from a month or so back.

20.01.2022 Some Alcantarea's in Death Valley. It's very hot and very cold , frosty at times and the soil is heavy and can be wet for months or hard and dry for months. At times everything's perfect though and today is like that although the soil is still very wet.

19.01.2022 Some shots from the 19th of July

17.01.2022 Plenty of plants for sale , pls send a message if you are interested.

11.01.2022 Succulents are very popular at the moment but are possibly under utilized in the landscape. Many of them do much better planted in the ground.

11.01.2022 The same area from some different angles this morning after the rain.

09.01.2022 Mini open day , next Sunday.

07.01.2022 A different angle.

05.01.2022 Full sun collection at Parodox

02.01.2022 Do bromeliads like frost? Answer - wrong question. Do Alcantareas like frost ? Answer -still wrong question but closer. How do different varieties of Al...cantareas perform with a light frost? Not a bad question! Here is an example of why it's not a black or white question or answer. We had a couple of light frosts in Winter and in this area which is high up I expected no damage at all but two recently planted types were burnt while all the others were untouched. This doesn't concern me but some gardeners might not like it. ''He said bromeliads like frost'' can be the impression given but it's not as simple as that.

01.01.2022 Osularia deltoides in full cry. A few Broms are getting swamped but they'll be ok when I intervene.
