25.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS PARAFIELD GARDEN R-7 The state average for Year 1 students who reached or exceeded the Phonics Screening benchmark was released today by the Minister as being 63%. This is a great improvement for our state, up from 52% in 2019 and 43% in 2018. 74% of our Parafield Gardens R-7 Year 1 students achieved at or above standard smashing the state average by 11%. 09.01.2022 - , : Today the Premier announced a 6 day statewide lockdown starting at midnight tonight (Wednesday 18 November) t...hrough to midnight Tuesday 24 November. Only the children of essential workers and vulnerable children will be able to attend school, preschool or childcare. A skeleton staff will provide supervision but not a learning program for the remainder of this week. All students have been asked to take home school laptops, devices, books and anything they need to continue their learning from home. More information on learning programs will be provided early next week.

07.01.2022 Public schools, preschools and children’s centres will reopen to all students on Monday 23 November. While OSHC is able to operate as usual, families should check with their OSHC service whether it will run a service on Monday. We look forward to having children back on Monday!
