23.01.2022 Last night we celebrated our staff Christmas show, thanking all of our wonderful staff for their efforts in what has been an interesting year! We awarded our annual prizes, farewelled departing staff, and welcomed new and returning staff. We ate, drank, and reflected on the past year at the pool. A great night was had by all! Parafield Gardens Swim School could not operate without our amazing team of dedicated staff! Thank you to our Swim School Family!

09.01.2022 WORLDWIDE AQUATHON Saturday 14th of November 2020, 1.30pm 4.30pm Join our Aqua Fitness Team at Parafield Gardens Swim School for the Worldwide Aquathon on Saturday the 14th of November 2020 from 1.30pm 4.30pm. ... The aim is to promote Aqua Fitness and raise money for charity. This year we will be supporting Backpacks for SA Kids. Backpacks for SA Kids is a charity that supplies backpacks and Christmas presents to children younger than 18 that have been displaced from their homes. This is where Backpacks for SA Kids come in they supply a backpack filled with clothes, toiletries, a book and toy so the children have something to call their own. Our fundraising drive in 2020 is specifically for their Christmas Program to ensure all these children receive a gift this Christmas. 07.01.2022 We are OPEN! (Tuesday 1st Dec) We are open from 6am tomorrow morning and will be running our regular program including learn to swim, aqua fitness, and lap swimming. We have made a few changes to fit within the guidelines set by the SA Government. Please note the following:... 1 parent/guardian per family for swimming lessons. No other spectators will be allowed at this time. Each parent/guardian must be seated on one of the chairs around the pool deck or in the viewing room. Please do not move chairs. Where possible please wrap your children in a towel, or warm clothes after lessons and shower at home. All customers must scan our QR code on entry. Your QR scanner can be found on MySA Gov app. A written log will be available for people without phones One-way traffic is still required. Please enter through the front doors and exit through the viewing room and out the side gate. An email will be going out to all of our customers tomorrow morning with more information. 06.01.2022 Due to the recent covid-19 cluster in the northern suburbs, we are reminding all families of the importance of obeying our covid-19 safety policies & procedures that we have in place including: Please make sure you use the hand sanitiser supplied when entering the foyer. Please enter through the front door and leave through the side door and out the side gate. Please only bring one parent per family to swimming lessons (2 parents for Babies Splash and Waterba...bies 1 if required). Please DO NOT come to the swimming centre if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid-19. Please do not move the chairs in the swimming pool area. (They are set up 1.5m apart for social distancing) Please maintain social distancing practices at all times. A full list of these policies can be found at the entrance of the swimming centre and also on your Thinksmart customer portal app. We will be keeping a close eye on social distancing and hygiene practices to ensure all our customers and staff stay safe and healthy. 02.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE All Waterbabies 1, Waterbabies 2 and Baby Splash classes are cancelled for the next 2 weekends (5th/6th December and 12th/13th December, 2020). All other weekend lessons will run as normal. ... All lessons including Waterbabies & Baby Splash will run as normal on weekdays. This decision has been made to comply with the SA Government's regulation of a 50 person maximum per pool. This regulation will be reassessed on December 14th.
