24.01.2022 The first four girls due to foal at Paragon Cutting Horses. They are already settled into the foaling paddock which runs past the foaling yards via a laneway. Come August they will start staying in their seperate foaling yards overnight and be monitored 24/7 with our Smart Foal foaling alarm system. I love foaling/ breeding season!!

23.01.2022 Busy day on the farm today, 2 ponies are two stone lighter (Remi & Dudley), 4 Hendra boosters done, foot xrays for the big fella Smoothy and a couple of late pregnancy checks. Huge thanks to our favorite Gold Coast vet & good friend Tim & nurse Carly from TRH Equine Vets for coming and seeing us

20.01.2022 Don't you love it when a mare foals on her due date... and even more so when it's at the respectable hour of 9.15pm!! Introducing 'Gotta be Tuff' pending Thank you Fancy absolutely no complaints here what a cracker of a colt, with two back stockings, a neat star on his head and possibly front socks (will see better in the daylight).... This stunning boy is by Aristo Tuff imp. And out of our lovely mare Freckles Fancy Spin (Docs Spinifex). He's a keeper and has a big future ahead of him.

20.01.2022 Smoothy gets the same 'come here' look in his eyes for a handful of green grass as he does for a mare that's hot to trot . Tate giving two of the 'wild stallions' Smoothy & Cats some hand picked grass this afternoon. Such gentle boys. So blessed to have three beautiful stallions here. All with the whole package ~ Type, Temperament, Breeding & Ability ~

19.01.2022 Our sweet Scotty heading to Paragon for this coming breeding season back to Ima Smooth Blue Cat I know that Danni and Leanne have the same level of excitement to have Scotty arrive as I have in sadness to see her go. Wishing you all the best in a happy healthy baby for next season

17.01.2022 Smoothy looking and feeling a million bucks today after being pampered for the morning. Even got a quick pick on the grass while we were waiting for him to dry.... he of course instantly rolled and dusted himself up after being put back in his paddock.

17.01.2022 Never thought we'd see this again!! Just put our 60+ day PTIF mares out into the spelled paddock and there is grass up to their knees in some areas.

16.01.2022 Dental day for the rest of the Broodies (&Sugar) at PCH today. All were very well behaved and loved their horse treats at the end as usual. We love and recommend Wendy from Equine Dental Solutions, and most importantly the horses love her too!!

16.01.2022 The latest addition to Paragon Cutting Horses is a gorgeous little pony who Tate has named Ted E Bear. I foresee years of fun and mischief for this pair and reckon we will make a little cow pony out of him yet. 08.01.2022 The extremely cheeky and loveable Rusty is always up for a photo op!! Yep we bred a roan stud to a pinto mare and got a chestnut colt . But what he lacks in colour (in some people's minds) he makes up for in his beautiful temperament, cheeky but sweet antics and he is bred to do just about anything you want him to and will make a very nice versatile mount, and he floats when he moves. He's still looking for a new home, terms available until weaning. PM for more info.

07.01.2022 Love love love these two, Pauls red roan filly Reign by Joker out of Lassie and my bay filly Ivy by Joker out of Hickory. They are growing into beautiful girls and we are loving watching them blossom. They are Joker all over in temperament, their mums are beautiful mares too.
