23.01.2022 SCHOOL CLOSURE: Roma Mitchell Secondary College. We have been informed by the Communicable Disease Control Branch of SA Health that an adult who attended the si...te for an out-of-hours program has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The Department for Education has enacted its COVID-19 protocol and will shut the site for a minimum of 24 hours to enable deep cleaning to occur. Parents and carers are currently being contacted. Public health officials are carrying out contact tracing and the Department for Education and SA Health will inform anyone who needs to self-isolate. We will thoroughly clean the relevant areas consistent with the recommendations for environmental management for prevention of transmission of coronavirus. The site will not reopen until public health officials indicate that it is safe to do so. Thebarton Senior College will also remain shut from Monday 3 August onwards after a student was diagnosed with COVID-19.
