14.01.2022 New Temple opening -2021 Western Victorian Sri-Lankan Buddhist Association is excited to announce the opening of the new temple complex in Deanside. As the first stage of construction, the monk resident building has been completed and there will be an event to officially hands over it to Buddhist monks. The details are as follows, Date: Sunday 24th January 2021... Time: from 9.00 am Location: No. 663-669 Neale road, Deanside VIC 3336. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation in Victoria, public participation needs to keep within DHHS guidelines. Accordingly, participation has to be confined to invitees only. While we know this may be disappointing to most of our regular worshippers and the community at large, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to keep each other safe in these unprecedented times. For the benefit of those who unable to attend, we will telecast this event live on Paramitha youtube channel and Zoom.
